No worries, I do appreciate a civil discussion and I do thank you as well. I think we are well within boundaries here.
What I was trying to articulate with my analogy is that even though the orgs may not be anything more than glorified room&board ops, because we buy through them, they are responsible/culpable for quality and pic truthfulness of pics and so forth. They have the power to accept or reject talent, don't they? They have the power to ask girls to use real body pics. They have the power to not sell cake if cake makers ask to use pics of cake that looks nothing like the cake in the pic. Will they lose some cake suppliers and overall revenue if they do that? I'm sure they will. But what they will gain in return is customer trust and most likely loyalty. There are already some rules imposed by some orgs. Why not some rules concerning pic truthfulness and so forth? Why not some standards?
Note that I haven't really talked about specific orgs yet because my post was aimed at a general sentiment. But I'll say this - because of GFEI stellar rep in the past, their rep and name has carried them recently where many other orgs with worse rep wouldnt get through. Having good rep means customer trust. Orgs like AA, SA, EBK have/had very little customer trust on a whole.
And yes, while I understand that, like you've said, it might not be trivial to judge quality per se. Well, in that case why not delegate to experts-
us!
The so-called "die-hard dollar counters, clock watchers, scale-toting, fat caliper wielding, wrinkle watchers". Listen to feedback, and voila. You get a good idea of what's liked and what's not. Expert or not, I think people can distinguish quickly who can give a good DT and who cannot. And so forth. If a girl has mediocre reviews from trusted customers, don't bring her back. Try another girl. Diversify stock. Change inventory. Etc.
Finally - and nothing personal meant here - I find it a bit weird that you first say we (as in, everyone, you included) shouldn't guess but then you say you know more than others and hence can guess better than others. That's a little bit unfair, I feel like. But that's a minor qualm here. Lol.
