There was a big push by johnny law a couple years back that took out some of the best incall houses in nyc and ended dollar bill's psycho roundup. I really bailed out of the scene at that point, not that I was anything more than a dabbler. but still with the management's phone books confiscated by the feds, it was enough to get me out of the scene.

Apparently they were watching them leave and get into their cars, so they could identify many by license plate numbers.

Whatever reasons are behind this, asset forfeiture might not be a major driving force given the recent Supreme Court decision against unreasonable fines.

Dust will settle, it’s likely a regional focus. Things won’t change overnight. That being said, it is reprehensible when there is human trafficking involved and no one wants to see that. Sad !!

It's been a while since I've heard dollar bill's name. His blog was my introduction to the scene and I will forever be grateful to him. That enforcement action made me switch from places offering a full menu but where I needed to call ahead to settling for a handy at places with a storefront that I could simply walk in. I figured that would give me plausible deniability. This most recent situation, focused on places with storefronts and placing cameras in the rpoms, is making me consider giving it up entirely. I'm not a frequent monger, but I really enjoyed a monthly massage and I'm quite certain all of the girls I saw were there of their own volition. Some enjoyed their job more than others of course, but how many people in other careers dislike their job. Being stuck in a job you dislike out of economic necessity is quite different from being a trafficking victim. I wish this country could finally get over it's archaic puritanism and legalize pros. Doing so would go a long way to solving the real issue of trafficking and boost tax revenues to boot. I recently saw an article that cannabis legalization has made a huge dent in smuggling, legalizing pros would achieve a similar effect. Apologies if I'm preaching to the choir here, I guess I'm just venting or mourning the loss of my monthly entertainment.

Sure, many of these owners and MMS and girls have multiple arrests on their record. They don't give a shit. They'll just go back to China or move on to another state. Would YOU want multiple solicitation arrests? We all want to have fun but those who aren't careful will pay a serious price for that fun. Not safe at all. This is from two weeks ago and there have already been multiple raids that have shut this block in Queens down. There's an all-out war on this entire industry and unless we want to be collateral damage, we'd better get smart and VERY careful.

people really need a burner phone if taking the risks. Mentioned above, out of the scene since dollar bills demise and just started looking back in.... and see that perhaps dangerous times are back. kinda sucks. was just a dabbler but certainly miss the options that were available.

Personally I never wanted to go to AMPs, I could never be sure about traficking, not comfortable with that. Would rather seen independents or collectives where I had some confidence that workers were not being forced to do anything.

I disagree about the whole evil feminist thing. This is about money. Same with marijuana. The plant, itself, is not dangerous but law enforcement formed an entire INDUSTRY from criminalizing it and locking people up. There's a line in that movie American Gangster where one of the guys says that if they legalize all drugs in America, overnight, a million people would be put out of work. Judges, cops, lawyers, defense attorneys, bail bondsman, drug counselors, etc. A substantial part of the legal economy is propped up by illicit drugs and it might be the same here. Make drugs, gambling and sex work legal and folks in NYC will wonder why we need 30,000 cops. Cops and their union don't like that.
