After reading the details of the case, I think it is important to only patronize locations with management who would never think that way or do shit like that.

Sex work is an independent choice, and NO sex worker belongs to anyone except herself. If an operator tries to profit by controlling other human beings, even if it's using casual pressure, I want to avoid that operator. If the operator would even consider violence as a means of control, I want to both avoid and encourage others to avoid.

Sounds like they are finally going after the actual human traffickers and abusers which is great. But legalization is clearly the move here which would eliminate this condition in the first place. Because then labor laws would apply. You have the right to work in many states for any employer without obligation for joining any union or in this case, gang.

My concern is the ages of many of those indicted are fairly young. This seems like amateur hour and definitely not associated with any legacy tong or triad organization. They don't move like this.
