I wonder to what extent providers take precautions.

What would happen if one tested positive for the herp, etc?

Lost their job?

Wouldnt be good for business

Ever come home with more than just a smile on your face?

In my opinion the girls most likely just cover any herpes with red lipstick or they mistake it for something else and keep it pushing, most herpes infections happen when the girls arent showing signs anyway, up to 70% of infections happen that way in the U.S, also i would never trust a chick who doesn't rinse with listerine either. Its important to look because scope, act, and the other generic mouth washes don't guard against the major STDs like herpes, gonorrhea and etc which are in the throat and lips but listerine does with a 30 sec swirl helps alot. Stick to R&T's its alot safer and you wont have to think about stds. Its pretty scary how easily you can catch one from basic contact.

sorry - but I disagree on a few points

1. Risk of infection is at its peak when sores are present.

2. Herpes is transmitted from skin. Condoms offer some protection-listerine is a non factor

This lets me know that you know absolutely nothing about STD's go look up what actual clinical studies say, listerine greatly decreases the viral load present in the mouth or skin of an active lesion, likewise MOST herpes infections do not happen when an active sore is there most happen when the person is not showing signs, its called asymptomatic viral shedding. The only thing you are correct about is that condoms give some protection but most guys are getting bbbj's BEFORE the condom goes on so you would be safe from HSV2 (genital herpes) but not HSV1 (oral herpes). HSV1 affects the genitals too not just the mouth. Idk how you guys Monger and dont know this type of stuff beforehand. Protect yourself.

And yes - the virus DOES shed when no sores are present - but the sore is the MANIFESTATION of the virus - that’s when the virus is most active

I’d love a link to this research that claims listerine - an anti bacterial over the counter mouthwash - kills virus

I’d love to read it

Please post

Also it doesnt matter if a sore is there or not you can still get infected whether the odds or for you or against you, thats the whole purpose of my point, most people dont know their infected because their partner never showed signs. Just like some chylmidia and some gonorrhea symptoms dont show up for awhile or at all and just stay stuck in one area like the throat. Most of the time they show signs but not always.

you said it was MORE transmissible

I agree that sores don’t have to be present

That “study” is from 1995?

Yeah its from 95, there are more studies that are more modern that prove this theory of the listerine even more so now, they knew it back then though too, the reason its effective has to do with the alcohol in listerine and nothing else really.

Seriously? that’s the excuse you’re telling your doctor. I heard this several times. I’m sure you will be telling this your wife as well?
a buddy of mine caught crabs from a provider, gave it to his wife before he realized what it was, tried the toilet seat excuse with her. She left him the next day and divorced him.
