That was my experience in Vietnam where I had access to 3 PX's, Army, Marine and AF. The Marines were lucky to be able to get a bar of soap, toothpaste and a sixpack. I used to get whiskey for a couple of Marines that I knew. Us Army guys did a little better. Sometimes the basics were scarce but you could always get booze. Walking into the AF PX was like walking into a mini Walmart.

We didnt even get body armor all the time when I was in the Marines. The CO used to tell us that shit just slowed us down.

You are spot on. Most the ones at the federal level of both parties are either dirty or stupid, and a fair number are both. If you find one who is 65% honest, keep them in office because the other options are almost certainly worse. Too bad so many a knee-jerk political lemmings who do little beyond look at the party affiliation (I point you to several posts here). Until people start looking at the individual, not the party, we will keep getting charlatans, robbers, and pipe dreamers.

I can believe that. You guys did not get treated too well from what I remember. I got to see a lot of all the branches. We were on one side of the
Da Nang air base with the 1st Marines on the other. Didn't actually see any Navy but I knew they were the guys lobbing shells over my head.

Agreed on these two things. I am much more interested in Science than Biology and Anatomy of a Man. Science is vital. Orangeman doesnt want to understand it. He really thought he was gonna bring coal back

Oh please. We've been through this climate change BS before. It's nothing but conjecture at this point, mdoels that can't be verified one way or the other for decades in the future.

Climate change is the left's religion. They don't believe in God so something has to fill the void. For them it's CC. They have a huge stake in it.
