Just some thoughts.

What is your favorite coffee and why?

Do you like tea? If so, any particular tea? Hot or cold?

My favorite coffee is 8 O'Clock Original. The bright red bag. I like it because I like coffee very strong and I can make this coffee very strong without it being bitter.

I also like most Kona Coffees for the same reason.

I like a good quality strong black tea, but usually decaffeinated. Twinings has a great Irish black tea. Red Rose I liked for medium strength tea, and it is also excellent for iced tea.

I have memories of going to our 1950s small town A & P with my mother, and watching while one of the clerks ground the 8 o'clock coffee beans. I still remember the big, old-style coffee grinders. Left quite an impression on this 5-year old.

I have a somewhat similar A&P memory and it is perhaps an additional reason why I like 8 O'Clock coffee.

I also enjoy Turkish coffee. I always get it when I go to a Turkish restaurant. Usually the staff makes a good cup with care. It is done with an ancient coffee device called an imbric. One of these days I need to order a can from Istanbul and make it at home. If you're feeling constipated, a jolt of Turkish coffee will clean you out.

Turkish coffee and Baklava...good stuff!

I always considered the Turkish coffee a form of Espresso...only thicker.

Manhattan Special Espresso Coffee Soda. Have been drinking it since seven or eight years old,no kidding !! Ice cold, foamy and not at all bitter. They have been around since 1895 and nothing else tastes like it. Hard to find outside of NY but local Shoprite's are now stocking it. User tip : Once you chill it leave it chilled otherwise it will go bitter. Enjoy !!

I remember the 8 o’clock at the A&P. The would grind beans and bag it for you at the checkout
