One thing I don't like is Keurig. I have one, which was a gift, and never use it. I don't like the little cups. There is something about it that takes away from the enjoyment of making and drinking a good cup of coffee.

I remember other A&P brands, a yellow bag I think was called Red Circle, and Bokar(?) in a black bag. Also think there was a green bag. Best smelling spot in the store was at the big red grinding machine.

I ordered a bag of good quality Turkish coffee.

Medium roast, finely ground, and with cardamom added, a spice I like.

So, we'll give it a try in the Mr. Coffee. Best way will be a small cup with only sugar added.

Just some thoughts.

What is your favorite coffee and why?

Do you like tea? If so, any particular tea? Hot or cold?

My favorite coffee is 8 O'Clock Original. The bright red bag. I like it because I like coffee very strong and I can make this coffee very strong without it being bitter.

I also like most Kona Coffees for the same reason.
Any good brand of French roast , Starbucks will do in a pinch . Cafe Bustello is excellent . After an Italian meal , espresso is a must . I like most coffee snobs drink coffee and espresso with nothing added . To me , cappuccinos and lattes are like a milkshake . Tea there is Yogi which is real good and the one they serve at Borgata lounge called Mighty Leaf also a great choice

Coffee - Espresso only. The other stuff I don't touch.

Hot Tea - Earl Gray, Green with Jasmine, Any type of black tea, Chai.

Iced Tea - Dark brewed with no sugar or lemon. Green Tea Ice Cream.
Same page with you Slim ; prefer espresso but drink a lot of high end dark roast coffee also . Green Tea ice cream is in my top 3 flavors with Pistachio gelato from a real deal store and coffee ice cream or gelato

I also enjoy Turkish coffee. I always get it when I go to a Turkish restaurant. Usually the staff makes a good cup with care. It is done with an ancient coffee device called an imbric. One of these days I need to order a can from Istanbul and make it at home. If you're feeling constipated, a jolt of Turkish coffee will clean you out.
Yea me too at Turkish places . It is really strong and bitter - goes well with their sweet desserts

Two teas I like are:

Bengal Spice.

Cinnamon Apple.

Both are by Celestial Seasons. Bengal Spice is harder to find, but an excellent rich tea with cardamom and cinnamon.

Both teas need no sweeteners, but have a natural flavor that does not need honey, sugar, stevia, etc.
