Well apparently one time I must have forgot to ask permission and I did give as a ref. Welp..., I burnt that bridge for sure. They actually do follow up and check references and this provider was not happy about being contacted by surprise. She no longer returns my texts so I definitely lost one there, but you know what, don't care.
I just wanted so bad to get in the door at CP, I was willing to sell out and I do not regret losing a contact along the way, small sacrifice. Onward!

Rainman62, Is it ok to use an agency as a referral without asking ahead of time? I assume the contact you “burned” was an individual.
