Not sure exactly what "Human Trafficking" means anymore. It conjures up cargo containers with 50 illegal immigrants, all stuck in the back in 125 degree heat. The poor helpless victims.

The AMP ladies I know and have meet ask me to drive them to the Casinos in AC. They have $4,000 designer hand bags and wear Rolex watches. They also take care of their families back home. Sure some get mixed up in the wrong things, usually self destructive behaviors.

Let me share a real story of a victim, you can decide if it is human trafficking or something else.

One AMP lady I know was a victim and had almost $40,000 taken from her after about 6 week of very hard work. "The Man" came in to make sure no one in the AMP was being forced to work against her will. Of course they grabbed all the computers and all of their cell phones for evidence, those new iPhones could of contained important intell. They, after all, were the brave heroes on their white horses there to save the day.

Some how her $40,000 went missing? The people who were there to SAVE HER, have no idea of what happened to that money. There was $3,000 listed on the report and since she was be forced against her will (their words not her's) they kept that money too.

The real kick in the nuts was it cost her about another $10,000 to try to clear the legal mess up.

Yeah, someone really F-ed her over and someone came to a reasonable business agreement and an exchange of services between 2 consenting adults. One was a fair business agreement and the other was an outrageous crime.

What a horrible and sad joke.

"Human Trafficking" means every agency involved gets good PR and gets to justify their funding and headcounts, and politicians get re-elected. They are the magic words!
When a shop is busted, the providers are often informed that if they are straight-up just working there they face jail time or deportation.
However, if they agree to have themselves tallied up as "victims of Human Trafficking", and turn evidence on the spa owner(s), they can enter protective custody and no deportation - they can stay because they have suffered "abuse" and risk more "abuse" unless rescued by DHS/CIS/LE.
There was a recent case in Southern California where the Man got the providers to turn evidence against the spa owner. That lasted until the mms demonstrated that the providers were in the biz up to their necks of their own free will. How embarrassing!

YES there was a time, when they (yes they) were giving out green cards, if the girls would admit they were victims of Human Trafficking.

Well you don't need to be an Eisenstein to know what happened with that. They couldn't process the apps for Green Cards fast enough. I think the owners turned themselves for trafficking themselves, haha! Hey, if they could get a free Green Card.

It is sad, when I read the post about the enforcement agencies that should be helping these ladies are actually the ones exploiting them. I am not so jaded to pretend that life is perfect but that is F-ed up. I am friends with LEO and get 8 beers in them and they won't deny that certain of their co-workers are more than willing to cross that line. You also understand there isn't much the honest ones can do to fix the problem.

I guess if they stopped giving away the easy green cards, they must not care very much about "human trafficking" ;-)
These agencies are just following the principles of Darwinian evolution - they are concerned primarily and foremost with their own survival and competition with other funded agencies for limited tax dollars. Headlines translate into $$$. It's really just like the old War on Drugs, or the new War on Terror. They probably just expand the definition of "terror" to include this "human trafficking".
Certainly some LEOs exploit their power with the girls, who probably just chalk it up to a cost of business. Who wouldn't want to monger "legally" and for free?
Can't really blame your good guy LEO friends for not wanting to cross the blue line with their sociopathic brethren.

The OP mentions driving the ladies to AC to visit the casinos. The way the law is written, if he drives them back, and drops them off at a spa on the PA side of the river, he could be charged with human trafficking. Transporting a “victim” across state lines, to work in the sex trade, at even the most basic level of service, meets the definition of Human Trafficking. The willingness of the participants is not relevant. Virtually all of the interventions by LE at the spas are the result of complaints, either by neighbors, or some monger’s wife. Nothing gets them to come more quickly than reports of trafficked, underage girls. Under age 50 maybe, and then only sometimes!

Civil asset forfeiture. We can thank the war on drugs for this horrible and sad joke.

The reality is law enforcement can get away with violating civil rights and in some cases straight up theft. When people call for police reform this is one of several issues they're referring to.

It's sad this has become racialized and politicized because everyone is better off when the police operate with more accountability.

DHS came about just after 9-11. I knew the second guy in line from the top. He would be upset to know DHS has swayed so far away from it's original mission of keeping the homeland safe from terrorists. Killers, drug gangs, criminals infiltrated our Southern border and our government waste money and resources to nab a few massage therapist. Fuckin pathetic, grow some balls big guys and do what you should be doing, keeping our homeland safe.

"Human Trafficking" is supposed to make you think that some evil gang kidnapped someone's daughter and now she's just on drugs and doesn't know what's going on whilst being raped 24/7. In reality probably every single girl at an AMP falls under the 'human trafficking' label. I mean, let's say they're non-citizens and they're sleeping at the massage parlor. A lot of them come over and live there at least initially right? Well guess what? That's human trafficking. Even if they're not living at the AMP if they come here from Korea to work there, then that's human trafficking.

Also a lot of them will tell you they're here to pay off debt, but then it's like, yea, what would we rather them do. Come here and do this and pay it of in a few years or less depending on how good they are with money, or have them stay home and make 30k USD a year at whatever shitty job they do and NEVER get out of debt. Come on. legalize and regulate. Lightly regulate

Does human trafficking exist? Absolutely, but I don’t know how they get away with applying it to situations like this. Yes, many of these girls have debts from being smuggled into this country, but it was by their own choice.

Some turn to massage because the pay is way more lucrative than working some other job like in a restaurant which allows them to pay the debt off much quicker. Do these girls really enjoy this type of work, majority hate it, but it’s necessary in their eyes because of the money. The government would make out much better by having the IRS going after them instead of law enforcement.

You go to a massage parlor to get a massage. Whether it be a strictly therapeutic operation or a whore house, you don’t pay house fee up front. Payments are made after services are rendered. Therefore, you do your homework, identify a type of spa that will fulfill your needs. You will be escorted into the room where services will be performed. Provider will leave for you to get situated…it’s at this time when you leave the house fee and tip in a clearly visible place (usually a bedside table where lamp, towels, lotion/oil, etc. will be organized). Depending on whether or not you conducted thorough due diligence, the provider will instinctively fulfill your desire/needs. There are cases when the providers will request for you to verbally express the service(s) that you are seeking. At times (depending on language barrier or level of suspicion), providers may even use hand signals. If this happens, you play dumb (like you aren’t able to understand what she is asking) and signal with a head nod that you left the money on the table and verbally express “I’m here for the massage” followed by a mumbling “you can do whatever you want or typically do”. If you are suspicious, feel in danger or sense a lack of trust; reiterate that you are at the spa for a massage (whatever she’s asking or using hands to signal, you don’t understand, but if that’s part of the process; Yes, you’re OK with her proceeding.” The shady providers may sometimes walk over and count the money in order to gauge/determine what level of service you are seeking and/or they are willing to provide. Never verbally express that the intent of your cash payment is in exchange for sexual favors. You’re at a spa for a massage. That’s all there is to it.

I have never had a suspicious beginning to a "massage" session. I cannot believe any (99%) Asian AMP is going to be a sting operation. The above post seems to be expressing his paranoia about going to a spa. I my opinion, there is not one way to leave the tip or ask for what services you want. I actually don't blindly try out new spas. I either go to my favorite places and girls or do plenty of homework should I go to a place for the first time. I don't have a problem if the girl wants the house fee and the tip up front because I already know it's going to be a good session, so I just hand it to her. It's more of a risk to the girl if she doesn't see the money ahead of the service because they have all been ripped off by customers that didn't have the money at the end or they tried to short them on the tip. After the first visit the girls don't ask for any money because they know how much to expect. Just don't forget at the end when your head is spinning, lol.

Along the lines of the above discussion, many mongers go in with the attitude that "I'm the Man, the ladies know how I roll" and figure that it's fine to wait until the end to settle up based on what was provided.
You'd be surprised at how many skinflints and outright scamsters we have in our brotherhood!
I'm talking about going in and creating big expectations of a good tip, for example getting a complete TS slide show with all the trimmings, and then just opt for an HJ back in the room and cough up an accordingly small, pifulous tip.
Or, handing over a big wad of ones and fives as the tip and walking out. Save your F'ing cookie jar money, cheapskates!
Or, I heard about this once: handing over a stack of five bills with a $20 on top, a $20 on the bottom, and five $1 in between. Looks like $100 in the low lights, but once the asshole is gone it's only $43.
One spa I visited recently had a "$50 bill" taped up on the wall of the break room that, alongside U.S. Grant's portrait, bears the printed warning “For Motion Picture Use Only”.
So, yeah, when this shit is pulled on the ladies once, twice, several times, they do get less trustful and might even do a quick count out. I save them the trouble by splaying the bills apart so the denominations can be easily seen and quickly counted.

IANLB, I believe that it is safer to use hand signals to indicate what is desired rather than spoken words.
Just playing dumb wastes everyone's time and can easily lead to a disappointing experience.

Human trafficking is real and it is bad. Just hit up one of the phone numbers listed in advertisements promoting a variety of services provided by young Asian women. When they text you the address, which you come to realize it’s a hotel after a quick Google search, that’s either human trafficking or a cop.
