Sadly McCartney just because he kinda of out lived Harrison and Lennon. If Lennon had not been shot I believe he would have had the better career.

Better is subjective. Selling records probably Paul. John may have written one of the best songs in history in Imagine. Harrison had a very good career, and it is obvious that Ringo may have been the most popular with his bandmates because they all wrote songs for his solo albums.

I imagine John would have embraced and worked with alot of the big acts from the 80's and 90's and of today. Like I could see him and Michael Jackson working on some sorta earth song together or even singing a hook for like a positive and conscience rapper like Nas .

Officially, Ringo is the most successful as a solo artist in terms of sales - this is “Final Jeopardy “ territory- remember bulk of Paul’s work was as a member of Wings, or under Paul McCartney and Wings, not technically as a solo artist. George needs to be given kudos though as he certainly proved himself as a songwriter on the same level of John and Paul. And he co-wrote a lot for Ringo, credited and uncredited.

Before his death, Harrison made more money with his recording company, and as a producer. Being part of the Travelling Wilburys was a big bonus.

But as an artist, McCartney. Wings was a very successful band in its own rights. And he is now the the top earner of the Ex-4. The only Billionaire Beatles.

For the record, I was being very sarcastic.
One of the worse songs ever recorded.
but of coarse he wrote a lot of great songs
with Lennon.

2 of the best albums -
Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street!
