This is a place that I took my number one AMP girlfriend on a afternoon lunch date. I like the more obscure sites in Philly, anyone can go to the Art Museum. Issiah Zagar took a whole block at 10th and South and covered it in glass and tile mosaics along with sculptural junk displays known as the Magic Garden. It is closed to tours until April but much can be seen from the sidewalk. I highly recommend it for a quick stop as part of an afternoon tour of South Street. Plenty of funky shops and restaurants to visit. His design is seen on walls throughout South Street and scattered around the city.

However I cannot shake the feeling that jI’m living the end of Eddie and the Cruisers whenever I’m there.
