This is a place that I took my number one AMP girlfriend on a afternoon lunch date. I like the more obscure sites in Philly, anyone can go to the Art Museum. Issiah Zagar took a whole block at 10th and South and covered it in glass and tile mosaics along with sculptural junk displays known as the Magic Garden. It is closed to tours until April but much can be seen from the sidewalk. I highly recommend it for a quick stop as part of an afternoon tour of South Street. Plenty of funky shops and restaurants to visit. His design is seen on walls throughout South Street and scattered around the city.

Isaiah Zagar is no Picasso (or Christo FWIW) and his work is not my style, but I can at least appreciate the whimsy in what he does. If the art world decides 50yrs from now he is a Philly’s Gaudi, it’s good for everyone.

However I cannot shake the feeling that jI’m living the end of Eddie and the Cruisers whenever I’m there.

Everyone is so literal, I only meant Picasso as an artist that is controversial in his style but is still enjoyed by many. Not that they compare, read between the lines a little.

I wasn't trying to be negative. Just giving my opinion. I don't really like a lot of art that is "out there". Well done paintings of real people or events is what I appreciate.

I am sure there are tons of things I like to do in Philly that you would hate, like go visit Robert Morris' grave at Christ Church. 99% of people are like Robert who?

I got you Wayne, and I mentioned Christo and Gaudi for exactly the same reasons. Take Eddie and the Criusers at face value however. That junkyard castle scene still creeps me out.

Wow, Mr Historian. My family on all sides came to Philadelphia, some even before William Penn arrived. I happen to have a strong appreciation for history. I live only blocks away from where some of my ancestors are buried in Philadelphia, as well as scattered about the burbs in Plymouth Meeting, Ambler, Valley Forge and other locations further west in PA. My name comes from the crazy general at Valley forge and one of my ancestor's who gave up his house and farm for General Washington's Headquarters. So, God bless Robert Morris, a founding father of the Declaration of Independence.

Thats awesome! You definitely know your stuff. Just surprised because not many people do. I am big into the history of the area. Especially Rev War history.

Yeah! General Anthony Wayne, that is the last thing I would have figured your name to mean, but thats cool. I own a signed document of his that I got at auction.. I went to his grave and took a tour of his house once too. Morris is one of my favorite figures from that time, kind of financed a lot of it, especially during the whole crossing of the Delaware.

Just to finish on my Philly visit.
I tried the philly-cheesesteak at Sonny's Famous steak. Really really good food! After that I visited two more strip clubs in the city.
1) CheerLeaders : Awesome experience overall. Really clean club with good looking girls. I made out with one of the strippers and finger banged the crap out of her. Got a good HJ in return :)
2) LouTurks: Really shady looking club, the people and the strippers where all shady to say the least. Got a dance from one of the only good looking stripper there. She asked me if I wanted to "Hang-out". I was really tired after all the above activities, so had to pass. Must say the food there was awesome! (or I was just really hungry ).

I went to Cheerleaders last Saturday and most of the girls are Eastern European. One local stripper wanted to hang out afterwards but I had to drive back to NY. lol.

There is a Korean room salon in Philly called Rainbow (무지개) but they only have two girls working.

Is this a hostess karaoke salon like I've seen in Flushing?

Yes but they have only one manager and two girls. Its located around a ten-minute drive from Chinatown. I guess there’s a very small Koreatown? That’s where it is.

I have to find out the address because I don’t remember where it is. lol.

Probably near the HMart in Elkins Park or Cheltenham. I didn't know there was a place like this near Philly.
