do you really think places like pink spa or French spa would be in peoples magazine? Lol we all go to spas for different reasons of course.. but it’s like saying you go to Hooters for the buffalo wings.. let’s be real here lol

OP, Consider the Philly Mag target audience. There are no hidden gems on that list. They are all the types of places Main Line wives book for their daughter's bachelorette party spa day, or gift to their weekend warrior golfing spouses for a birthday/anniversary. A select few are referral only for Athletic Injury PT recovery - and then only accept referrals from Rothman or the pro team training staff.

imagine what would happen if Saigon did advertise in PhillyMag? Ye gods, the cost of service would triple before the next morning....and the locker room would rival the Union League in ambiance. No thank you.

I’ve never been to French, but I read the broccoli is memorable LOL

I once went to a popular spa that is reviewed on this board and there was a mother/daughter massage going on two rooms over. When the moment of truth came the provider stuffed a towel in mouth to make sure I didn't groan too loud.
