Yes. If the pharmaceutical companies put out a defective vaccine, that would be the end of them. The coronavirus vaccine was already in the works before the Covid 19 pandemic so the pharmaceutical companies already has a head start on the Covid 19 vaccine. I've heard that coronavirus vaccine work was neglected after the previous ones died off, in which case there wasn't any active coronavirus vaccine and certainly none specifically for covid-19.

I have been taking flu vaccine every year since I was 55, so yes I would take the Covid flu vaccine if it's proven safe.

The corporations involved are large well respected companies. Doubt they want to ruin that image by putting out an ineffective or worse dangerous vaccine.

By then there will stories about side-effects, about it not working, etc. This should add to the slide of America's reputation. If the scientific community consensus says it’s safe, then absolutely. If Trump is pushing it hard and it comes out before the end of the year, then I will wait. The scientific community will be buzzing with people freaking out if it’s rushed and proven unsafe or inconclusively safe through trials. Nobody in this administration can keep their mouth shut about wrongdoing anyway.

Being blanketly against vaccines is a moronic stance to take.
