Worried amps will mess up your back?

I’ve been visiting the amps a bit more frequently lately and coincidentally, I’ve started having back pain. Never had a problem with my back before in my life. Do you sometimes worry some providers will mess up your back because they don’t actually know what they’re doing? Sometimes they try to crack your back or neck and that seems to be mainly when I have a problem. For example, on Monday, I saw a provider who did that move where she turned my head, pressed down on it with one hand, pressed down on my shoulder with the other, and tried to crack it. Now today, I have immense pain in my upper middle back and cant turn my head. I guess it’s a reminder that most of these are not legitimate massage therapists.

Was always concerned about that. I away say soft. If I want a therapeutic massage, there are places to go for that at cheaper rates. I go to AMPs to get my third leg massaged.

Yes, they can easily fuck up your back with their CPR-like pressing. Most are unlicensed and have no clue how to actually perform a proper massage therapeutically. I always tell them soft and with fingers not palms. I also see a chiropractor weekly which I recommend to everyone.

A backtalk is always a crap shoot, too. You have to be sure they know what they're doing or that they don't weigh more than a sack of flour...

I’ve had the backwalk a few times and it always seems like a better idea than it turns out to be. I’ve definitely had the thought of “This is it. I’m gonna be paralyzed.” as a 50 year old woman who weighs almost as much as I do stands on my neck.
