NOTE: THIS THREAD IS NOT MEANT TO DISRESPECT OR EMBARRASS ANY GUYS WHATSOVER.

I have been trolling Twitter lately and have been amazed to see that the vast majority of Indy providers use their channel to flaunt, brag and boast how they have been able to extract significant material gains from their clients. So much so, that I became sick to my stomach looking at all the guys that are being taken advantage of financially. This trend seems to be getting more and more pervasive.

My question to the board: For those that are willing to share....what motivates you to buy a sex worker shoes, clothes, purses, lingerie, spa packages, theater/concert tickets, home goods/furniture, flowers, dinners, books/tuition, etc. when another guy is getting a much deeper discount than you are (+20-50%) and spending more time in the bedroom (30-60 or even 90 minutes) and is NOT TIPPING HER AT ALL?

I always thought providers were in the service industry but it's starting to look like clients are the ones servicing them. NOTE: I'm not hating on any sex workers, this is a capitalistic society and if they can command their donation and someone is willing to pay it AND MORE...I have no issue with the woman and please don't turn this into a hate thread on women!

I'm more interested in what makes a guys want to do this. Are you trying to buy their affection or have some other need above and beyond the transaction that every other guy is getting? Maybe guys don't really feel they are being taken advantage of or they are just older, lonely and will do "anything" for companionship...some at the risk of financial ruin! It would be interesting to know what guys are thinking in this regard and why...

Some/many may be lying/exaggerating and trying to top each other with tall tales.
Kind of like some guys here try to one up each other with tall tales and over the top reviews which focus on themselves.
Not to mention some of the whoppers I have seen on the SA thread...

Whether we are having a great time or deluding ourselves, we are all adults. If someone wants to spend X dollars on a girl then who cares?
The op cares..it disgusts him. I understand his opinion it annoys me when i think about it. I just don't i've had 2 pros give me the chocolates. One time i gave it to an ex.

Some Men get bothered by knowing other Men are being taken advantage of. Others don't care. I realized a while ago, some Men lie to themselves about how the pros think about them or maybe they don't lie to themselves and know what it is but still want to see her smile. Myself i was taught at a young age to not try and please a Woman . Not everyone has been taught that or some people just disregard it.

I am guilty. If I like a girl, I'll give her things. Sometimes they are sexy clothes. Some reasonable jewelry, or whatever. Yes, I try to enhance my status, plus I do get a kick out of it. Yes, they are whores I know and accept the money. I am out of my fuking mind probably, but I do like to treat a long time girl I like a little special. I do get some reciprocal benefits. Some times, "wham bam thank you mam" is fine. Other times, making a date, taking your time, and smiling together a little adds so much.

I've met quite a few providers in my hobbying years and I'll say this. Most of the ladies I meet, it is what it is, a simple exchange. I only tip when they service is actually good. And I only come back if the session was outstanding.

I prefer to have a couple of regular ladies with whom I build a connection and relationship. Relationship in this case doesn't mean romantic but it does require some cultivating. So to these ladies I send or give gifts for holidays, bdays and other milestones if I know of them. On occasion I give little somethings on a random date just to make her feel appreciated and elevate her mood. And that's how I see it - appreciation for a partner who provides me with a reliable great time and adds something special to my day/life even if just for a bit.
Does it give me better sessions? Maybe but I can't say that's on my agenda to be honest. It definitely brings me joy to see her smiling and happy when she sees she's really appreciated.

I can put it this way, in the context of the current Christmas and Hanukkah and Eid al-Fitr seasons. You have a relative, we all do, who you don't have much interaction with, and know really very little about. Might be like your brother's wife, or her brother, or your nephew's next door neighbor. Do you buy them a prize when you know you are going to be at an event together where gift-giving will happen? What do you buy them? FOR WHAT REASON do you do this? As with the OP, no judging, just curious WHY. Can be same for providers.

Now, in my religion, Christmas is 25 December like 22 December is also a day that ends in Y, so for us we don't make this day any more likely to have gift giving than any Tuesday in February. I give gifts to people I know who I believe have earned a gift at that moment, and the gift is carefully selected to mean something. You give that gift to your brother's wife's brother, you know, a 20 dollar gift card to the gas station you bought on your way over, and he's going to spend it, but he will never give a fuck about that.

I gave my Operations Manager a special torque wrench for mounting a scope he just bought and we had been chatting about it for the last month, and he was head over heels for this. I could have given him a 25$ gift card to Olive Garden, like a piece of shit.

I imagine men give furniture (lmao) and whatever else to providers during this season for whatever reason they like, but these are throwaway gifts, and they oughtn't to be surprised to find them in the garbage. I was gifted, only a few weeks ago, a bottle of fairly decent wine that a cucked monger gave to a girl I BFE sometimes. She doesn't drink, of course he doesn't know that because, like his brother's wife's brother, he doesn't know shit about her and doesn't give a fuck although he thinks he loves her. I don't drink either, I re-gifted the wine to a girl in my accounting department who I do know enjoys fine wine. For me, without context, gifts might as well just be money put in garbage can.

I think if you have a provider that you have known for a while and there is a genuine appreciation then its fine. But, often most pros while thinking the gesture is nice, don't really care. They will throw gifts away after Client's leave or give it to someone else....they might be married or have kids so they can't/dont want to bring the gifts home.

One should ask is this gift/thoughtfulness going to be appreciated. Pros generally think guys are always trying to find a way to have sex with them for free so in the back of their mind there is always the thought...is this guy is giving me this to get over. So unless the regard is shared in kind in some fashion then spoiling pros can simply be wasted money. Regardless of whether you can afford to do it, want to do it, dont care about doing it etc.

I follow a bunch of hookers on Twitter. Most of the ones I follow aren't the kind who are posting pictures of all their loot, but some of those who do show up on my feed. It mostly seems to be very expensive indies (1K/hr and above) catering to a particular kind of fantasy. It's the deluxe fantasy girl -tall, big boobs, often blonde, high heels, fancy clothes. The high-end consumption goods are part of the whole fantasy they're selling. That's definitely not my fantasy, thus not the women I follow. Also, almost anyone seeing women regularly in that price range - they have a lot of money. Buying a 1.5K handbag is just no big deal. I like to buy books for indies.

I think men do this with providers for the same reason men do it with any other female who is a partner or potential partner - giving people gifts makes them like us. A session with a provider who enjoys her time with you vs. a session with one who doesn't is a whole different experience. I'm not advocating that men do this regularly or at all, but if they want to get a provider a gift, they're gonna get a provider a gift. Unless it leads the provider to raise rates then it doesn't really impact anyone else.

Assuming we are all paying the same rates, there is always an element of YMMV in a session - even the best providers sometimes put up duds, and some guys get great sessions with providers who are normally not great. Lots of variables, and giving a nice gift can be a variable. I personally have only done this once - this past week in fact, I was in a giving mood since it's the holiday season, and I was in another state where prices were so much lower that I was getting about double my money's worth with the session to begin with. So, the price of toys I got (note - nothing super expensive or luxury goods. I would never do that) still put me way in the value added category, and the provider was so thankful/excited it literally made the whole atmosphere better. Which led to one of the best sessions of my life (maybe the best)!

That's not to say I wouldn't or shouldn't have still gotten a good session, but it felt like it made the difference between the experience being an 8, vs. the 10 that it turned out to be. But in this case I did it because during our time texting, I got the vibe she was the kind of girl who would show appreciation for something like this vs. someone entitled with GPS who is accustomed to gifts and would just brush it off. Which I agree is a problem!

Thanks for the response...good synopsis as to why guys give gifts...there is no judgement here...just wondering why some guys do it. Fellas, I realize we are all adults and guys can spend their money any way they want...that's not my question here. How do I know what other guys get??? Because I'm that other guy that has gotten discounts and extra time on a majority of my dates for almost 20 years and I don't tip or give gifts. This isn't about me...this is about seeing all the girls bragging, flaunting the gifts that guys are buying them above and beyond the donation, as if they are entitled or taking advantage of guys. I'm just wondering why guys will go out of their way financially to spoil someone that ultimately doesn't care of them (outside of the material gain) and would probably give you the same service...whether you bought them shoes, jewelry, lingerie or not.

Ultimately, I think it's true that men are definitely the weaker species...
