What type of oil do AMPs use?

I'm not sure what oils AMPs use but, in my experience, it's probably baby oil. If you really want to teach your girlfriend to massage you, Bed Bath & Beyond has some great massaging oils with nice aromatherapy fragrance. Also olive oil and coconut oil is good. You should be able to get a great massage from your girlfriend with these oils.

My gf (unaware of the hobby) wants me to teach her. I'm not even sure what oil to get. Technique, though, I can convey lol

Thanks
Soma silk professional massage cream or rice bran oil. Both available on Amazon. That’s what truly good spas use, or something similar. Less serious places will use whatever is available like baby oil. The worst is when they use scented oil and you can’t shake the smell even with a shower.

Google massage oil or search amazon and plenty of choices. They will usually buy it by the gallon and find one that doesn't irritate their hands or cause complaints from customers.

Technically - it's mineral oil. Baby oil is mineral oil with stuff added to it to make it smell like babies. And usually the oil at the spas i go to is unscented.

Talk to a massage therapist (either independant or at one of your local legit spas (there are many chains like Massage Envy, etc., too). Any should be willing to share this information, especially if you are a client, and they may even retail a selection of various oils, including scented (i.e. aroma therapy) and unscented oils.
