A few days ago, a woman from Green Apples told me a customer offered $40 tip for a HE. She refused and told him he can only get a regular massage. He then tipped $20.

I explained to her that she lost $20 and the regular massage took more work and most HE massages do not go out the full hour. What did she accomplish? It would have been different if he sent him away. But if there was no customer to follow, that would have been worse too.

That's craziness!! Your right some massages for hour only last like 40 minutes before the flip them about 5 minutes for the HJ so less work for her plus $40. It's a win win for her. She actually took a loss. Bit if she's getting $60 for HJ maybe she sees that $40 is a waste of time

i dealt with a place that mostly is legit but some gals go freelance and offer HJ with the shhhh motion..
on occasions i have only wanted a normal massage.
so on this day there was heat and i was cold to the bone and declined the extras on flip..
my gal got mad..
wtf
and then she ended the session with 15 mins after a litlle massage..
i discounted her tip accordingly n made a comment to the bosslady..
anytime they want to negotiate a HJ tip i just tell them to finish me normal massage...

I tip well in restaurants since their base salary is below minimum.

But a person who pours my coffee and gives me a stale donut, I don't tip.

I never understood the whole tipping restuarant thing. I want to tip the chef, not the waiter. I am not her for the waiter.

Their salary is way below minimum as they receive tips (based on service).

The waiter is supposed to share a percentage with the bus boys.

I don't know if the chef get gets a cut.

I dont mean to get way off topic. The way we compensate people in restaurants are wrong. No one is coming to the restuarant for the waiter. When the waiter leaves, we do not follow him to his next restaurant.

The waiter staff should be compensated for a fair salary and the chef should be paid below minimum wage and get the tips depending on how good the food is.

I dont know why anyone would want to be a chef, when in some upscale places, the waiters can earn much more. I would imagine the chef has the greater skill.

I agree with you.

But, a small percentage of chefs make a boatload of money.

Anyway, back to providers. No tip. Unless they go way over and above expectations.
