In summation, I am glad I posted this, even though someone mentioned the existence of a previous thread discussing the same. The takeaway ? The hobby is starting to cost too much. 200-280 was one thing 360-500 is a whole different story, one many of us cannot afford. Supply and demand. If everyone goes less because it is cost prohibitive, perhaps the prices will come down. Or, maybe the girls are happy working 50% and making the same money at twice the price.

Part of the problem was, is, and probably continue to be, younger, new to the game clients who can afford large sums and can’t seem to find girlfriends or significant others and will say to themselves here’s $$$$ take care of me.

there are a couple agencies and indys that still provide for 300 in manhattan and some are even all inclusive for that price.

Or you can simply go to queens. Paying 320, 360 is just telling those agencies that we are ok with paying these inflated rates. I mean, if you got the cash go ahead but not me, ill simply take my money to queens.

Inflation, the adoption of Covid as the new normal, AI breeding less need for humans on the payroll, geo political and climate concerns all shape how much " free" money one has to spend. Bad economies have a way of doing that quickly. Today's freewheeling young dick slinger is tomorrows new dad, with less expendable income. Whether this price inflation is sustainable in the hobby, is questionable. All it takes it one aggressive house lowering rates back to 280, and others will follow. There will always be the Koreanna's and VIP Momo's; the elite of the industry who command a higher price. The key word being elite, not the norm. $$$$$ is not and should never be the norm.

domino's charged like $7 for delivery the last time i tried ordering from them, almost as much as the pizza!
