What happend to Kana?

She worked out of an apartment in the East 40's, Grand Central area. She was a thin, somewhat tall, pretty attractive girl. Half Korean, the other half Japanese. She was in the game for a few years and was quite popular, She seems to have vanished around two years ago, anyone have info? or do you remember her?

The last time I saw her was in early 2017. A few guesses on her whereabouts:

1) She was talking about retiring from the business since 2016, and maybe she actually pulled it off. Unlike some other girls, I wouldn't be surprised if she was saving her earnings. She was also making more frequent return trips to Korea, sometimes for months at a time, which made scheduling more difficult and made some of her competitors more appealing. And to be honest, her service went downhill a bit in late 2016 when it seemed like her end date in the business was drawing near.

2) She advertised through Dollar Bill, and when he got popped, maybe she got arrested, deported or just decided that was the final push she needed to get out.

3) Maybe some combination of 1 and 2 made her decide to move across the country and work under a new nom de guerre. So right now some guys on an LA board are raving about the good times they have with "Hanna".

4) Somebody got her a diamond and a green card.

I agree she was great while it lasted. She was never the type to do rimming and the PSE-style experiences that have caught on in the AAMPs, but she personified the attitude of GFE. Other than when the money was handed over at the end of the hour, she made it feel like hooking up with an old friend instead of just another hour of work. Her English was great and she liked to chat between pops (two was guaranteed, even when she had to work hard for that second one) and she had a surprisingly good memory of her customers. And did it out of a convenient apartment in midtown with easy scheduling by text at a very fair price. I've definitely spent a few enjoyable lunch hours with her. Plus she lived in a doorman building, so trying to be nondescript with him was some added fun. (I always admired his poker face when you told him what apartment number you were going to; a total professional.)

The lesson is to not wait to make an appointment when you read a good review. The best girls in this business don't need new clients.

Agree she probably retired. If it's the same Kana I'm thinking of (she was half Japanese half Korean, worked in E 40's and advertised on Psych Bills) she was not in the game a few years - she was in the game a lot of years. Can't see my old reviews but it was easily more than 10 years ago. She was cute but I don't remember her being special. Could be that sheets New and inexperienced then.

Kana was $250 an hour with a full menu (DFK, BBJ, CIM, CFS, etc.). She stayed at that price even as AS set 300 as the norm.

She advertised as 22 although she was actually early to mid-30s, which was still a nice change given how many women in the business long since turned 40.

Agree with Fenrich that she had been on the scene awhile. I think I heard once that she and Kathy of Private Hottie fame were once with the same agency ~10+ years ago.

That is a new one on me. They were only a couple of blocks apart from each other back then. Kathy was definitely a lot more intense. A session with Kana was more like a real girl-friend experience and of course, a visit with Kathy was nothing like sex with any girlfriend I've ever had.

Kana was a doll. Very friendly, and very personable. She had an electric piano in the apartment, and I am a keyboard player, so we would play songs before and after our sessions. Always a smile on her face, She was very obliging with oral activity, giving and receiving. Only thing I could say was a drawback is she would start gearing up for a finish about ten minutes before the end of the session. Almost every time. She knew how to get me, she would get on top for a CG position, and she knew I couldn't hold out any longer. Find the Kathy connection doubtful, Maybe Amie can let me know about that.

Good memories of Kana. Reading all of these posting about her makes me nostalgic. Agree with previous poster that she likely retired. Towards the end, she was spending months at a time in Korea and did not like signing a year long lease to keep her place close to grand central. She actually worked at NYVIPSPOT for a while after her lease expired. She mentioned then that she would be going back to Korea in a month and then when she came back to NY, she wanted to find a different job. Miss her and Wish her all the best.

I had heard once that her and Kathy both worked at the Eve 4 Adam agency described in this link that was knocked out in 2012. After the bust, they both went independent, with Kathy advertising on Eros and then creating the now defunct nyindy.com in 2014, which turned into Go Go Relax in 2015 and continues to this day, possibly with her still in a managerial role, and Kana remaining independent and advertising through Eros and Dollar Bill. I think Amy, Kathy's duo partner in 2013 and 2014, and Lu, a now-retired Japanese independent, were also at E4A.

I agree it might be far-fetched. E4A was before my time and I had only heard these details as hearsay on a review board, so this is turning into a game of telephone. Maybe I just like the idea that once upon a time, today's big names in the industry were all together in once place, sort of a "When the legend becomes fact, print the legend" kind of deal.

I'm not sure I know of or remember the single girl agency you mention. So timeline maybe hard to say but I think Kana was Indy long before that. I can't see my old reviews but my timeline has me seeing her around 2006-2007 and she was Indy then.
