Maybe one is offered through his 401k (SPY) and the other is not (VOO)? Otherwise, agree would just go VOO for lower expense ratio.

Well I lost my job in February not due to Covid-19 they merged with another company and I didn't go and took the buyout/unemployment deal so after 14 years of working in my factory I was out of work for the first time in my life I had a few things I was working on but the pandemic hit and everything went to shit all my plans went bust so I've been home since and my birthday is in the middle of June so after that I'll start looking. Honestly though I'm going to really look hard and try to get into a different career I don't want to have to change careers again and I'm too old and bitter to go into retail or a restaurant work

well i am a retard... so far had a lot of losses.. some due to holding on to the options too long, til they expire. betting on stuff going down... last couple days were exciting... started making money on the airlines AAL, DAL and cruises CCL.. a bit remorse for selling so soon, leaving money on the table... but still happy at profits... although still neg... getting closer to even steven..
