Western or American Style Food Tour

I met a nice Asian girl that is literally fresh off the boat and new to America for only a few weeks now.
She wants me to take her somewhere for lunch where she can try a variety of what she calls "Western Style Foods".

Anyone have any suggestions of any restaurants or buffets that serve a variety of quality American Style Food? One catch, she does not eat red meat. Someplace in or near Flushing/Queens or the surrounding area.

I was thinking maybe somewhere that has a nice buffet, but most buffet places that I am aware of these days are usually Asian themed or predominantly have Asain Food. I'm not looking for anything like that. Only place I could think of that the quality of the food isn't that bad is maybe The Cheesecake Factory, but even their menu is a little limited, and then we are also limited to perhaps a variety of Appetizers and then whichever Entrees we order.

I'm open to any suggestions.

Thank You!

The girls love Cheese Cake at the Cheese Cake Factory. I would avoid going on a weekend because the wait time is at least an hour (unless you want to go to the bar and drink while waiting).

For lunch I recommend Peter Luger. It’s quiet during lunch time and they have a great lunch menu.

Thanks, we ended going to Cheesecake Factory then to Coney Islsnd. It was a nice day. No wait at all at Cheesecake Factory.
