I have been thinking about the secrets we share, and the secrets we keep to ourselves.

I've noticed that the reviews on AmpReviews have gotten way, way more detailed and explicit. I learned the art of writing a review during the SH days. With SH, explicit reviews were rejected, so you often had to rely on innuendo to help the reader understand what your experience was like. I prefer the less explicit reviews, but I think I'm in the minority on AmpReviews.

Conversely, I can't recall any "no reviews" prohibitions during the SH days. Yes - there were a few deep, deep UTR places which were never reviewed. But just about every other place had a review thread, usually within days or weeks of opening. On AmpReviews, if you review a "no reviews" place, other members will probably jump on you, and your review may get deleted.

The following three examples highlight some of my thinking on which secrets to reveal, and which I should keep to myself. I'm curious what you all think. Which secrets do you keep to yourselves?

- I recently visited a new place in CNJ. It advertises aggressively, but there are no reviews yet. I'm not aware that the place has a "no reviews" policy, so I'm surprised that no one has reviewed it. Do I post a review or wait for someone else to break the ice? I'm feeling like I should post my review.

- Through intuition and luck, last month I rediscovered a well-reviewed girl with a reputation for having a very open menu. It was publicly reported on AmpReviews that she had left the area. However, she works at a "no reviews" place in CNJ. I generally don't honor "no reviews" mandates because I don't work for the spa owner, and I keep my reviews pretty tame anyway. But a review could affect this girl's continued employment. Even though I know that other guys are looking for her, I'll probably keep this one to myself.

- I often get first visit FS at places which all the reviews suggest are HE-only places. The girls say "shhh - only for you". I'm not dumb enough to think I'm the only one getting this service, but I do believe that it's the exception. Even if I have no intention of returning to the place (or seeing the same girl again), I generally keep this to myself.

If they say “No Review “, I will not post. Whether I can tell a fellow monger through DM, I will …but only after speaking with a Mamasan and the girl

I’m also an SH refugee. For those 3 points, I generally agree with you. As for too much or too little details in reviews, it’s a 2-edged sword....

Yea I say keep it to a tight knit group. Send a few Private Messages to your closest members on here and spread the word that way. Of course we are a review site, but sometimes it is best for these type of places and providers to stay UTR.

SH vet as well..really enjoyed that site and the intel/reviews. I don’t write as cryptic as in years past mainly cause I’m only reviewing places that give a great massage and leave you smiling. Here it’s sort of essential to put forth some info in the private section as the reviews might get declined if criteria isn’t met. I don’t think most are shelling out the going rate to pay for access, so we’re forced to spill the beans in order to play here. If one was very discreet then the safest way would be to pay and never post a review.

I usually get a massage 1-4 times a month depending on life so I don’t mind offering my experience. Especially if it’s a new place or attendant. 20+years in the thrill of a new location or masseuse is still as appealing as it ever was. A 1 hour getaway to leave the world behind and relax. Whether it’s a one and done or a really great trip I find it fun to share the experience with the boys in la cosa nostra.

We ALL should know what kind of AMP's we visit. We ALL should know the difference between an AMP that may be hurt by a review compared to an AMP that won't be hurt by a review. A worker who may not want everyone knowing what they did with you and a worker who could care less.

With us ALL obviously knowing that simple logic. We can review accordingly.

It's not that big of a mystery. Just need to use a little common sense.

Knowing the difference between a big city FS AMP that has been around for 40 yrs and never has any LE issue to worry about would more than likely not be affected by explicit details.

On the other hand a local town AMP in a small strip mall next to a CVS might have a lady that might do a little extra for certain guys but most likely would like to keep it on the DL for the sake of the AMP.

That's it. It's not brain surgery. Just common sense that a lot of idiots on here don't have or don't give a shit what happens to these very valuable establishments.
