I usually TOFTT at a place if it's within a reasonable range of market prices. But last week I tried a new place (Oasis Spa) on 87th near 1st Ave. 80 house fee which is "ok". But although the provider was relatively young and attractive she was going for gouge-level prices for xtras and wouldn't come off them. I futilely tried to explain market price ranges in the general NYC metro area but she just scoffed and walked out of the room. "So I just said good luck" (as the Dylan song goes) and hit the door. Ended up doing a repeat at Jena Spa nearby (review in posted). But a stalemate like that is a first for me. You gotta have principles and (my wallet and) I stuck to them.

Tis true, but , those who are well off can cause issues for many.
This emboldens providers to ask for more than the average. They have all the right to do so but, but the interaction taints the mood. Yes you can find a happy medium but it may soar the moment.

Agreed. She wanted 140 extra for a topless HJ. And 250 for topless CBJ. I countered but she wouldn't budge. When you add the 80 house fee that total puts you in the range of some of the GFE places (e.g., Rest and Relax) where you get A LOT more service. So it's not that I COULDN'T pay it. It's really about the principle.
And she stuck to her's.
I don't understand the objections so often raised here to some AMPs and some AMP girls' pricing. It's a marketplace. They have as much right to set their prices as we have to decide whether to pay them.
In this case, the girl set her price and the OP decided not to pay it. The market worked. If her prices are not acceptable to the market, her business will fail. The market will have worked. And if her prices generate enough business for it to productive for her, the market will have again worked.
