HotSpot and Mr. M are the same party - co-run by two people. The talent is widely varied, and frankly just not enough American college girl types for me (that is what I loved about SVT). Went to Die Happy Tonight last Thursday and it was packed. I couldn't believe it. I'd estimate 50 girls. Lots of potential. They had some erotic burlesque/vaudeville-type show that was entertaining. After the show was over a girl came over and asked to sit next to me. She was in jeans, but I assumed she must be working nonetheless. Ends up she was a civi that was there for her girlfriends birthday and after 10 minutes of chatting she starts making out with me and biting my neck and talking about leaving together. I'd definitely go back.
Was this at Rosewood Theater? Haven't been in a while but had some great times there followed by some letdowns, but I can see the potential. Is it a normal thing for civvies to go to these underground strip clubs? Agreed!!! Studio 90, 25 Ludlow, Leg Shoppe on East 28th St., the place on White Street I believe down near Tribeca...all sadly gone...Also miss the Vault, Hellfire, and all the 90's places, including finding most or all of them in PRINT in newspapers, NY Magazine, Village Voice. Today's NYC is NOTHING compared to those late 80's and 90's days and night. Nothing.
If you mean Church Street and White, that was the longtime home of the Harmony Burlesk, one of the greatest spots of degenerate behavior in the history of NYC . You didn’t need an email invite for a lap dance after 10 pm- You could walk right off the street and have titties in your face at 2 in the afternoon!
