Tipping

I recently talked to a provider that is now working in the Mechanicsburg area, it seems that area is very cheap when it comes to tipping. I would think that .4 would be a standard tip for 1hour, she told me it's nothing to get .1 or .2 for 1 hour. I know for a fact that this is not just a therapeutic shop or a diys. I read on here where people complain about the service in these areas maybe it's because lack of tipping. In shops that are purely therapeutic these girls are working just as hard and maybe harder than some of these other shops. If you go to one of these shops you pretty much know what to expect, if you enjoy the massage you should leave them a decent tip. From my experiences I've noticed that some of these providers warm up with a little time and take care of your needs. I've been involved in this game for a little over 20 years and I've met a lot of nice woman and had a lot of good times. What I noticed is that these woman do not have a glamorous life, they work at least 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Most of the money they make they send home to their family. We as mongers use them for our pleasure, face it we wouldn't want our daughters doing what they are doing. I would think the least we could do is treat them with respect and be generous when we tip them for the pleasure they give. I don't have any dog in this fight just thought I would express my views. PS. I don't plan on giving up my lifestyle anytime soon. Happy mongering

I think there are a lot of guys that go to AMPs but dont necessarily know about this type of website of intel. A standard massage at a traditional U.S. spa might be $85-120 dollars and a 20% tip is considered generous. On a $60 AMP visit, 20% is just $12. You are right that it can be a tough go for many of these spa girls, but there are plenty that are making big $$$. The K-girl spas often pay the girls nothing out of the house fee, and no minimum wage. The Chinese spas pay the girls 0% to 50% of the HF, and no minimum wage. So depending on the particular spa and how busy they are, times can be good or bad. That said, I have been mongering for 20+ years. $40 was pretty much the minimum tip for good service. Today, I give at least $60 for a good effort, and oftentimes more. These girls have excellent memories. If you plan to see them again and they provide good service then take care of them.

Yes, they have very good memories, especially if there is anything distinguishable about you, like an unusual tattoo or scar. A couple Jacksons are a good starting point for tips on good standard service. If they exceed your happiness, then a several Jacksons are appropriate. Anyone cheaping out on the tip had better plan on not returning to that facility, or any others nearby. They do often share information.

Agree with everything you said except:

Sometimes they only get $5, yes five. Lot of cheapos out there.
I know quite a few that send money back to china for family.( parents and kids) I'm sure it's not all of them do especially the younger ones. Maybe they're lying to me but I don't think so.

I cannot find the original post on this site (I've been looking for a while now) but a fellow monger had a good rule of thumb for tipping:
  • $20 for 60min legit message. If it's 90min, I go $30, etc. I like long massages and don't like to short my favorites.
  • $40 for a basic HJ. Most will expect this and be satisfied. If she expects more, then more must be given.
  • $60 for a HJ with extras. Some OTC, UTC roaming or even freeing the girls. My favorites all provide and I reward in kind.
  • $80 for CBJ/BBBJ. I do not partake but a lot of posts/reports seem to jive with this.
  • $100 or more for FS. I do not partake but always read the reviews to see what is standard. 5 minutes on this site is all it takes to not get ripped off.

It's a personal thing but if you are going to be a repeat customer then go big. What means not the much to you means a lot to her. Is 20 dollars going to break you? If so you should not be doing this. These girls are people. Special people.

Let me ask this. During this covid thing do you tip better at restaurants or take out? I'll bet you do. I do. Same with AMP's business is slow so give them some extra and if you are regular you will be rewarded by it for sure.

A little generosity can go a long way. I was seeing a provider at a Camp Hill spa for awhile a couple of years ago and making very slow progress. I liked her, though. When she told me she was going back to China, I stopped by the day before she was scheduled to leave, just to wish her luck and give her a $20 goodbye present. Fast forward 18 months and I'm going in to try a Harrisburg spa I've never been to before. Who's the masseuse but the same provider from Camp Hill. I can't place her for a second, but she remembers me. Suddenly everything was on the table, so to speak, and she was sopping wet. She specifically mentioned how touched she'd been by my $20 gesture.

I get very annoyed when I read posts by mongers who make it their mission to tip as little as possible. Think about what these women do, the risks they take, and how hard they work. If a girl rips you off or shorts you on time, then yes tip less. Otherwise, tip on the generous side! If you can't afford to tip well than you can't afford this hobby. AMPs are still the most economical way to accomplish your goals. If you don't believe me check out Eros in your free time. I also find that tipping generously pays dividends during future visits. Also don't mistake "gifts" as substitutes for tipping. You would be surprised how often these gifts are re-gifted to me by my favorites. For example, I have a bottle of pink champagne sitting in my wine rack that will continue to go unused. If you do bring gifts, consider bringing a 12 pack of Miller Lite, something I will actually use if it is re-gifted to me.

!00% Pete. What cracks me up is at Christmas time or Lunar New Year guys bring all this "junk" as many of them call it. One girl I know very well Opened a drawer and showed me all the gifts guys bring. Most couldn't care less about a gift. Red envelopes on the other hand.......
I’ve been the recipient of re gifting from 2 providers over Christmas each received box of chocolates from their regulars as presents. They didn’t want to offend and not accept, so I wound up getting some quality chocolate candies!

True, and don’t think a gift is a reason to reduce the tip. They will let you know if you can reduce the tip.

There is a certain dynamic in the spas. Providers that work with each other want to know how much you tipped. If you are a cheap tipped it doesn’t sit well with the provider for a few reasons. 1. She didn’t make as much as she thought she should and now she has to wait her turn in line unless someone who knows her calls and schedules her. 2. She loses face by not collecting what the others are collecting.
