I got the same text and he actually called me. I use the app called trap call. It shows the real name and number of the fake number used. It's fake as he texted me an old address from man years ago. So they obviously use old info. The name and real number Listed below for anyone who wants to call and harass back lol

Hey bro! Don’t worry about this guy. He did the same thing to me. My burner phone is a Cali number and he got the address and names of the previous owner of the number that was recycled to me. He sent me the exact same photos. He said he was gonna send people to murder me and my family in California! Lols! I told him I’m here in NYC and let’s meet up and pop off. He only talks and texts like a tough guy. He’s just trying to get you scared so you can cash app or Zelle some money to him. I mean it might be a little creepy that he knows where you live and stuff, but don’t stress. And also Get a Burner Phone! Any number that’s on a family plan is very easy to find information on.

No, it isnt. Its trivial to track location of a cell phone these days whether you use it or not. and its not a lot harder to take a google voice number and convert to the phone that was used. These things might be beyond a typical housewife, so maybe most guys here dont have to worry. But any competent investigator/hacker can get through that.
