Thoughts on Google Maps reviews of AMPs?

Subject pretty much says it all. Curious as to if anyone posts reviews on maps or no and why. I have been without being obvious, obviously. I keep it general and legit. Some comments are clearly paid for and some are fucking hilarious. Some super straight type, male or female, goes in and get's a surprise then proceeds to vent... lol.

I ask because some very popular places have little or no reviews.

Not a chance. Unless the AMP is purely therapeutic with zero chance of any extras, it’s too public a forum to provide useful information. Misleading, incomplete or inaccurate reviews are worthless, so why bother?

I have reviewed on maps. I was just checking out massage in Philly. Saved pink and sun spa

I can't see any benefit to the AMP or the customer to reviewing on Google. If it's accurate, you've given more public exposure to activity that's technically illegal. If the description is legit, you're attracting potential customers that are in for a rude surprise and that the AMP doesn't really want.

I saw the reviews for Pink. You can read between the lines, but I think there are better places to post reviews.

For entertainment, I did look up one place near me. 5 star rating from one of the women that works there. She does give a good massage, but I wouldn't consider it unbiased.

Being reviewed on google improves your placement in the search results. I dont look for spas this way, but I'm sure many casual mongers do. It would be an interesting discussion, how guys figure out accurately what spas are catering to women, which are for men strictly based on things like yelp / youtube and visual references. I dont want to hijack the OP post though.

Yelp and Amazon have been plagued with false reviews (positive & negative) for a long time - I can't imagine Google reviews don't have the same problem.

I have no illusions about getting "accurate" (which users here say when they mean explicit) info from google reviews. My interest in leaving reviews is simply for general info. It's easy enough to say something nice about a good place with good people and vice versa. I always leave negative reviews for shops that suck. Yes, there are loads of paid for positive reviews out there. All the more reason to let folks know is a shop is crap. And no, I don't use my regular account to do it. If you don't think people use them for AMPs you are wrong. My reviews have almost 10K views and counting. One single shop review has 4200 views. Someone is looking.

Yes, i had an interesting experience a couple years ago, when i helped a MMS with first a website.
then we paid google to improve the spa's placement in the search results (google has an interesting revenue where you pay based on the population of the area you want to advertise in, and then for each time google delivers your site.
finally she got a couple customers to post reviews. Nothing sensual, just reviews from men that said the place was clean and the girls were skilled and friendly.

the combined effort grew her business 50% in 3 months.

I use Google maps all the time. I know how to read between the lines, and the pictures that amp supplies usually tells me if they are strictly therapeutic. Also looks for many reviews by women. If there’s many, most likely a legit amp. A table shower is also a clue that there’s more on the menu. Have I been screwed by Google maps, a couple of times, but that’s ok. I’m in it for the trill of the hunt. That’s why I rarely hit an amp more than once. It’s the trill of not knowing exactly what to expect that gets me excited.

I've noticed several that are using the "Identifies as Women-led" tag which I presume get's them something out of Google marketing. I know of one that is not licensed for massage and yet has dozens of "updates" claiming to have trained professional masseuses. Another that's essentially a dingy brothel that has lot's of pretty pictures of exotic massage treatments... It's all about learning to read the "signs" between the bullshit.

unbelievable that some people would use their real gmail account to leave a review on this type of establishment. Some even have their pics.
Maybe I'm paranoid, but I won't even search using Google Maps at all. Or if you do, then do it on a burner phone unaffiliated with your real Gmail account(s), or at the very least clear your timeline/search history.
