It’s pretty safe to say that anyone who has been in this game long enough has seen or heard some things in a spa that they wish they hadn’t. Anyone have a good story to share ?

I used to visit an UTR spot in Maspeth that was an apartment. Two beautiful women working there. Now we all would like to believe that these women are pristine but we know better. One time when I was there she pulls back the bed sheet and there’s a pair of underwear with a dirty pad inside. I guess she saw the look on my face because she scooped them up and then says “no problem from yesterday”

This wasn’t inside a spa. I parked to get a legit massage on a street with less legit spas (162). I open the door and then see a lot of dried up condoms on the street by my door sill - must have been dozens of them. My guess is one of these spas stored them all up and dumped them on the street.

The worst I've seen is the bucket of towels soaking in a bleach/fabric softener mixture. If they don't have a washer/dryer on site, this is their method of cleaning them.

If your towels don't feel soft, you should just ask for the scratchy paper towels for cleanup or just go somewhere else.
