Yes. The cartel thing is a scam. However, blackmail is real and I’ve heard stories. With your cell phone number there are services that cost a few dollars and you can find your name, address, age and spouses name.
So now it’s “pay me $$$ Jack Smith of 123 Evergreen Terrace or I’m forwarding your text messages arranging a date at the Holiday Inn to your wife Petunia”.

Some dudes are just contacting the wrong girls I guess. Stick with amps and you don't have to worry about blackmail and going out of your way so much that you need a burner phone.

Yeah if you venture into the world of STG/bedpage/etc your going to run into bad actors sometimes unfortunately. Hence why some guys stay away from those sites, but hey if you’re willing to roll the dice have at it.
