Texting & Calling App

Aside from a burner phone, what do you guys recommend for an app that has it's own phone number to call & txt? I have a google voice # but it's tied to a business I ran in the past. Preferably an app that doesn't require tieing the new number to a cell number.

You could just use a different account in google voice. I actually use it for work under my legit google account then just switch over to my “fun” account.

Vumber. Only issue is that (at least for now) you can't send/receive pictures. You don't even need to use the app and can run it on your phone internet browser by going to their website.

yeah the problem with google voice, which I have.. if you make a new number/account, then you have to tie it to a real phone. So I can't use my current google voice # to set it up, I'd have to use my legit cell phone #

I’ve been using hushed for the past few years and there hasn’t been any trouble - I do activate vpn before using the app but idk how much good that does
