Taking shoes off

At some shops, they remove your shoes as soon as you’ve walked in. I know this is a typical Asian custom, but it also serves another purpose. Once your shoes are off, you’re less likely to bolt if you don’t like the merchandise

Up to the late 1980s, Koreans ate and sleep on the floor. Which is why we took off our shoes.

If a Korean amp lady tells you that she also ate and sleep on the floor while growing up then she’s at least in her mid-40s. lol
