I gave a review of a local spa to me and a dude makes some comments somewhat debating my review. I check out his profile and his rotation is 100miles north in New York. Do you think this is the spa owner watching the comments on his investment. So I send him a message and ask him and he is yet to reply.

Perhaps.
However that sort of thing hapoening is not uncommon on these review sites. Somerimes the rebuttal may contain a "tell."
I'd be curious to read the review and rebuttal.
