Punta Cana is great for family vacations at the nice all-inclusive resorts and especially golf. But not for P4P.
The casas (MPs) are far away from the resorts and they have very few girls working and they are not as attractive as the casas in the main cities such as Santiago or Santo Domingo. They charge 3,000 pesos (around 80 USD) for an hour which is insane for an average-looking lady.
If you go to the DR, there is no mandatory quarantine. But you will need to take a Covid test and show a negative result three days before you return back to the States. This applies to everyone and even to those who are fully vaccinated.

Make sure your condo has a safe. Put all of your personal belongings in there.
If you were staying at a hotel or a resort, the front desk would ask the girl for her ID. They would keep that ID and the girl can pick it up when she leaves.
I don’t know if the girls get tested regularly or not.
Bring your own condoms. Many girls don’t carry them. Be careful because many of them want your leche. lol
I’ve picked up girls from the bars and clubs. Many bars and clubs will not let you in if you wear shorts. You have to wear long pants such as jeans. But you can wear a short sleeve shirt.
The Covid curfew is 10pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends. So make sure you pick up a girl by 6pm, have dinner and drinks with her and get back to your place before the Curfew.

You can absolutely get providers to come to your resort room in Punta Cana, but just a couple of things:
1. You had better be at an "adults only" resort, like Excellence or Sanctuary.
2. On top of the girls' fee, you're going to have to tip the front desk manager or security, and you're going to have to pay a resort fee for the provider to get a wristband to be onsite. At Excellence that was $150. Forgot what it was at Sanctuary. The good thing is you can wine and dine them at the hotel restaurants and bars for nothing! LOL.
