Boys, I’ve been doing this for a bit, going on about 6-7 years, but suddenly I’ve become so weirded out about going back. I got a few texts this weeks for a few MMS telling me that their establishments are open; part of mind is like let’s go buddy it’s time to rock out, yet the same brain makes excuses like I’m a newbie all over again.

IDK just wondering if I’m going through a midlife crisis or something. Hahaha maybe I need to workout that usually gets me going.

I've been going to AMPs for 35 years now.

And I'm having a tough time with the issue of going back to public establishments without a vaccine for the virus.

Except for my move out of New Jersey, this year has been one big clusterfuck.

That’s pretty funny, I’m in NJ. I don’t think it’s the virus for me, it’s like a mental block or something. Hahah could we call it the YIPS?

From mid-March to June, I did nothing. However, since June started, I've been making up for lost time with a vengence. Had two SB visits (with my regular from before the lockdown) and four AMP visits (two with an ATF and two strange). And June still isn't over yet. Did not use a mask at all (except to enter and exit). One more visit with another ATF lined up for next week. So far, I am fine.

And you’re in a state that is seeing increasing covid cases. You should come up for the weekend to be safe.

The state he moved to has some catching up to do. NJ has had 10x as any deaths as NC.

I love when people and pols in NY/NJ throw shade at some of these southern states. lol hopefully the governors and nursing home operators in TX and FL know wtf they're doing unlike the bozos in NY.

You’re a jerk. The states with the biggest increase are red states. Wear a mask.

Nah....it's a valid concern. This hobby has its dangers (LE, STDs, getting caught by wife/GF, etc.). This is another one added to it. Perfectly normal to be gun shy IMO. I don't know when I'm going to partake, frankly, because of my personal living situation (I live with elderly family members). If I were living alone, I would probably have already gone since I am young and (maybe foolishly) believe I would survive Covid. It's the risk of harming my loved ones that has me sidelined indefinitely.
