i believed if you are tested positive, your case is reported to cdc or to the local health department of hygiene. i recalled from my doctor.
the best is go to your doctor and ask for a full panel std testing which is 20 copay instead of stdcheck.com which is 200 dollars.

Better verify that. They only mention Insurance companies. A lot of places have Health Codes in place where any positive STD results needs to be reported to the proper authorities for contact tracing.
i know my doctor has to report it if patient is positive and stdcheck most likely they report all positive cases. i know i read somewhere too.

Do they report it as a number for the area you live, or with your name? By name and I could see more purposely not getting tested.

you can ask them , but not sure how they can report it, if you don't need ID when you do the test, and You can just pay with a Disposable Credit Card .

i did a chat with stdcheck.com, asked the qustion, do i need a state id to test.
Hello, Every order must contain a name or it cannot be processed. Part of our commitment to confidentiality is that we do not ask for the name associated with the credit/debit card used for purchase. You are also not required to present a photo ID at the lab location.

That's a different situation. If you use a false ID, they can't report who you are if you test positive. But I can't see how they can legally get around complying with the Health Codes if they want to keep their license.

"If you use a false ID,"

that is my point, why pay 200 at stdcheck when you can do the test at your pcp doctor for 20 copay. it will get reported anyway if positive either ways.

See post #13. You have to supply a name. What that name is, is up to you.
I guess you do have a point, if they take your name. to be fair i have never used them , and so far thanks god , never got any infection except once and that was in mouth , as i always use cover for my penis . i do get tested often as I am prone to kidney stones and also taking medication for prostate and have a very good uorlogsit , that i go often.
