Basically he already broke bad and is looking to break good. He isn't very good at it. Definitely a rollercoaster between suspense, dark comedy, and John Wick action scenes. Noho Hank is probably one of my favorite side characters I've seen in awhile.

Off tomorrow and sunday! I will start watching this!

Here is another great scene from True Romance. Maybe not as classic as the Sicilian scene, but its a worthy runner up. You can cut the tension in this scene with a knife. Like the other scene, lots of brilliant lines here too ("maybe he thought it was white boy day", "that makes us practically related", "I know I'm pretty, but I ain't as pretty as a pair of titties").

Just shows what an amazing actor Gary Oldman can be and what incredible range he has. Hard to believe that the same guy who played Drexel the Pimp here also played Winston Churchill a few decades later (and won a well deserved Oscar for it). He played both parts very convincingly. Oldman does lot of roles where he just seems to phone it in, but when he hits a homerun, he hits it out of the fuking park. Christian Slater is good here too, but Oldman just outclasses him. Which is another interesting thing about True Romance: the guys who are only on screen for 5-10 minutes steal the show.

Internal Affairs (1990). Richard Gere plays an fascinating character here: a corrupt cop who is the ultimate alpha male (as the below scene illustrates). Gere's character is a poster-boy cop, but secretly operates his own crime syndicate and even does hits (the couple in this scene were his "clients"). Meanwhile, he has eight kids with multiple wives and still fucks anything that moves (including the wife of his partner). You get the feeling that the base motivation for all this guy's badness is simply to spread his seed. Very good, underrated, and almost forgotten movie.

G. Oldman had a spectacular run in the 90's. True Romance, 5th Element, The Professional. I'm probably forgetting more. Dude is great.

Here's a blast from the past. Watching the original Helter Skelter 1976 version, 3 hours 11 minutes of terrible effects and acting but a movie everyone needs to watch concerning a sick dude one Charles Manson. Beginning hss Beatles version of the song. I think back and say to myself why did I wear those clothes.

I told a friend about the free HBO (I subscribe already) and he came back and told me that it isnt all their shows, just a collection. I havent looked myself to see if it is true.
I was specifically pointing him at True Detective season 1, which i really liked. He said it wasnt packaged in the free version. too bad. Its a real good one too.

Just finished watching once upon a time in hollywood.

Probably the most mediocre Tarantino movie imo. The acting was cool. But the script was mediocre.
I liked it but funny, watched ths original Helter Skelter this afternoon.
Charles Manson had so much potential but found the wrong path

I pay so little attention to entertainment from the past 25 years or so, I can honestly say I have never seen even 1 minute from any of the shows you just listed lol

Other than King of Queens, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and Everybody Love Raymond haven't seen much at all from that era.

Not on that list, but...
"The Sopranos" was top notch.
Even though my pop hated it and refused to watch it.
