So much of answering this question depends on the location you’re forced to hobble in.
Many states or locations are not fond of AMPs so because they are scarce you’re forced to go independent.
I’ve resided in both scenarios and for me AMPs are hands down the best.
Too many indies at the same $ Level as AMPs are generally strung out and full of demons.

Living in Vegas, there's plenty of both. I was doing indy for a long time, some repeats, some new, now even the repeats I'm getting canceled on or ghosted.
Since I schedule my hobby time between work and wife, I have a limited window when I schedule something. The last two indy cancels, I went directly to a well reviewed AMP no appointment needed and got 2 girls for the price of an indy.
Both have their place, depends on the girl(s). If I want some conversation thrown in it's nice with an indy with no accent. If I just need to nut, then don't care about if they speak english at all.
Next time, I'm going to venture out to a k-agency, AMP girls are cute, but agencies seem to have the knockouts around here.

Ashley Madison required DL? I can't veryify, but I doubt it. The issue with the AM breach was email addresses and credit card info. Dudes would use their work email, work phone for obvious reasons get repercussions. Not sure any actually had LE issues, mostly personal and job issues and embarrassment

Getting this thread back on track - I broke all my rules and saw another independent. I said I wasn't going to do it, too much trouble, verification shanigans, price, scheduling BS... But do I listen to myself???

This woman was paranoid about everything, blinds, her neighbors, I checked and her eyes looked normal, she was just weird, like she never had some dude over to her house. The room was hot, the tv was loud, spent too much time talking and not enough time doing what she was supposed to be doing. Complained about freakin' everything, about her bathtub, her A/C, the neighborhood, trying to hide what her side gig was from her friends, just shut up and suck my dick already. Didn't say it like that, cuz the donation was already done, but her BBBJ was not great, which is a hard bar to reach.

It’s a toss up. There are independents that have no equal in beauty professionalism and personality. However, you can run into a scrawny drug addict, ugly fat girl or trashy girl whose bathroom and apartment are so dirty you just run away to not catch disease or some bedbug. Amps girls can also be a toss up but generally much cleaner, safe and most are hygienic, and cheaper.
I wanted to add my 2 cents. I personally prefer indies just because of the ease of communication. When you find a good Indy, the experience is always excellent. But you almost can't go wrong with amps. Any well-reviewed amp here is rarely a miss. I rarely see an Indy who hasn't had a legitimate review for all of the reasons everyone already knows, but amps are just easier to navigate on a way.

I could not agree more. But if you see that, why not turn around and leave? I am not sure if you are equating Indy with Sugar Baby, but there can be some overlap there. I was talking to one potential SB who told me her ex-BF would be in the other room (on ankle-bracelet parole). That was a deal breaker for me.
AMPs are not perfect, but they are about as safe as you can get. Great value for the money and not a lot of work either (unlike SBs). A good friend of mine also swears by "hotel girls", but that whole concept scares the shit out of me. I have read about too many hotel busts. And then there are probably the robberies and muggings you never read about.

Here in Houston we have Indy’s in a house for example, it’s basically an amp in a home, priced similar to an amp too. Lots of Latina Indy’s have emerged recently but are a bit more pricey. There is a very nice looking Indy Vietnamese girl here, she recently includes a sensual hair wash, scalp massage in her session, mostly does HJ but will FS for an additional tip.
