So what to do in the interim...

There are so many threads out there about the COVID-19 and who to see or not to see and where to go for stress relief, how about this...

Many people look at this venue we play in as a 'hobby'. Not sure who decided this term for playing with the ladies, but it is what it is. However, if you're going to take a break and not see a trusted lady from here, how about taking up a 'real hobby'. Things like R/C cars, building models, model trains, planes and more (sorry ladies, just being real here...). No one says to give up seeing ladies, but if you're one who is being extra cautious and doesn't know what to do with their spare time, take a look at what I wrote.

I look at this venue as a diversion; not a hobby. I have a hobby and it costs me more than my diversions. We need to think with the big head on top for a while until things calm down and get back to a normal stage of life.

Weather is still slightly colder than I like. But I'm planning to give the Harley some last good runs before I trade it in later this year. Hopefully there will be fewer cars on the roads.

I actually do race slot cars. Tyco, AfX, etc. Had a bunch in my basement, started at 14 cars now up to 25. These sombitches are hard to find in good condition and very expensive. I've seen some going upwards of $300! I think the most I've paid is $60 for a pair.

In the meantime, stay in WeChat until my "friends" and I are free to play again. Their work has stopped. They're bored. I'm angling for an overnight stay to get the pole position! (Pun intended)

I didn’t know they were so valuable. I’ve got a set from when my brother and I were kids, back in the 60s out in the barn. I should dust them off. I was never any good at them though. My main hobby was and is these girls.

But I do rebuild (slowly) old cars. I’ve got a couple projects here now with all the pieces lying around. I guess I can crank them out now. I doubt people will buy them right now though.
