Signs a provider is good or bad

What are some signs that you look for to see if your provider is good or bad? Are there any specific red flags that you look for?

At a house fee + tips kind of place, the farther along they ask for the tips correlates strongly to having a good session. E.g., from worst to best:

• "You pay tips now!" before the session even starts
• "How much you pay?!" right after the flip
• "You take care of me?" (no mention of amount) right after the flip
• "You take care of me?" before getting dressed
• No mention of tip whatsoever at any point

Biggest red flag is when the provider has a bad attitude/scowl on their face when I walk in the door. I've learned to walk immediately when I encounter this.

"How much you pay?!" right after the flip

I got this one the other day and had to walk out. It's not that I refuse to agree on the tip in advance. It's that her way of handling it told me my session would be bad no matter what tip I agreed to.

Her english was not good enough to determine if she wanted to agree on the tip or to receive the tip in advance. I'm open to both in the right circumstances but this wasn't it.
