Not sure about 3 hours, but yes Monkeypox is less contagious than Covid as Covid can spread through air and without any physical contact.

And they are saying past data suggests that the smallpox vaccine is at least 85% effective in preventing monkeypox. But who knows if this true. I guess only time will tell.
