I'm posting this thread as a reminder for myself in the future mostly. But, it'll probably be useful for anyone that hasn't used seeking before and isn't sure whats the most efficient use of the site. I came into it as a game that I could use to pass the time and had zero expectations. I'd recommend you do the same otherwise you'll be quickly disappointed. I've spoken with other members that used seeking and I've had good results but the time investment cannot be understated. It's basically an insane time-sink.
Pre-Game Necessities and Optimizations:
Seeking has a place and I've had great success but it was cause I treated it like a game and I was trying to power level or something. At the end, I was more interested in finding all the scammers and outing them, than trying to find actual girls. Not sure why, but probably because i got annoyed at how many and how much time they wasted. Overall, I'd say to anyone that if you're looking for the best ROI on your time and resources, then Pros win out pretty easy. If you're looking for something consistent and willing to grind grind & grind, then seeking will work for you.
Pre-Game Necessities and Optimizations:
- Only really sign up for one month stints. I don't find it worth signing up for more than a single month. They have occasional sales and I'd probably only sign up during those deals. I signed up out of curiosity and because it was cheaper.
- You need update your settings so that your have your online status and when you view someone hidden. Only leave when you favorite someone visible, so that you can control who you're showing interest to publicly. Otherwise, you're just letting everyone that you look at know that you're viewing their profiles. I just look at stuff randomly and out of curiosity, but those unwanted profiles will then try to reach out to you and I'd rather just avoid having to delete or hide their profiles.
- Keep your other profile information hidden and I leave the notifications on cause its convenient. You might want them off if you want to hide stuff.
- Profiles should be very basic and to the point. Your heading is the most important. Its very short but make sure to add "No online/CashApps" It avoid people trying to scam, but it is only going to lessen. Its not going to deter everyone. In the Description, its important to just straight-up say that you're not doing anything remotely online, long-distance, platonic and refusing any type of cashapp or online payments with zero exceptions.
- Have a google voice or burn number ready on hand.
- Utilize hotel rewards programs. It's been pretty useful.
- Generally, avoid anyone using the word platonic. There are exceptions but if they use it then its like a sign saying that they're just wasting time.
- Don't seek out asians. There are exceptions, but generally the scammers are all pretending to be asians cause asians don't really use the site. The asians that do use the site have fairly high requirements. Again, I'm sure someone will say that they're the exception and etc. But, you'll learn real quick that seeking asians is insanely poor ROI.
- VITAL to check where their "Recent" location is. Tons of fake accounts on the site and checking where their most recent location is like a hack to avoid wasting time. If its outside the country then wtf is the point. They're obviously scammers. If its anything other than US, then just move on.
- Scammers will use the same account to move around their locations. All of a sudden they'll be Nashville from NYC.
- NEVER send money. Cash is king and anyone real is going to want cash. When you know each other then its whatever. But, theres zero reason to do anything besides cash in person.
- Lots of thick skin is necessary, the most common bullshit I've seen is that "I really need help, I dont even have food in the house." To be fair, I could honestly give a fuck. lol. So it doesn't bother me but pity isn't my strong suit. They'll say all kinds of crazy shit to get you to send money.
- You will constantly be Favorited or pinged by girls that are long distance varying from out-of-state to overseas. That's a hard fucking pass. I just hide or block them to same myself the trouble.
- Use the favorite button as a way to save your preferences. It also lets the girl know your interested based on the settings. But, don't bother waiting. Just message them.
- Quality in my opinion goes from Latina/Black, Other/mixed, White and Asian.
- Have two standard messages A. hello messages and you need to be willing to share a photo/pic right away. If not, you are not going to get responses or effectively zero/low responses. B. have a message that clearly states your intentions. Obviously, use proper grammar and don't sound like a turd. Saves everyone time and girls appreciate not wasting time as much as we do.
- Tell them upfront in the first message or two that you dont pay with apps. Lol, I keep mentioning this cause I learned over time that the faster you remember throw this line out, then the faster you save your time if they're trying to do something dumb.
- If you're the type that's looking for new conquests and constant fresh tang, then this is not going to work for you at all. As stated previously, the time investment is very high to find new prospects. It's really only worth it if you're willing to have something longer-term or want multiple/repeated visits. You're going to not only spend a lot of time talking to girls. You're going to spend of a lot of time meeting girls that aren't going to work out.
- Pros aren't really in the position to judge you. They can stomach anyone mostly for an hour. Seeking is very different. The girls are judging you constantly. The less attractive, more annoying, awkward and etc the more they want for their time. So basically, if you don't have game and you're ugly, then expect to pay insanely or they might just say no period. I've spoken to a bunch of guys that vary in age, looks and etc. This is basically true for everyone, younger and better looking guys get more ROI. But, keep in mind that seeking is always more expensive than pros.
- Once you start the conversation and you agree to meetup, it either needs to happen quickly or it won't happen at all. If you take to long, then the girl is going to just ignore you. If the girl doesn't get back to you, then you'll usually do the same cause you'll feel like its a waste of time. Unlike Pros, these girls have schedules and they're usually something you need to plan around and in advance. Pros are great cause whenever you feel like dropping by, they're ready and waiting.
- You need to always take into consideration that there is the seeking tax. Aka, the need to always get a hotel, uber and etc. To be conservative, you need to add $150 dollars in tax to anything you're planning on gifting to figure your budget.
- Pros are going to be better in bed, more skilled and etc. The sex is going to be a lot more normal and more work on the guy's part. If you're the type that likes to layback and get serviced then its probably going to be a big let down. You're going to be leading most of the time and doing most of the heavy lifting.
