Save up for new iPhone

I was using my iPhone 7plus for about 5 years. Was excited about upgrading to the 13 pro max. Would be a nice upgrade for battery, speed, 120hz screen and camera. Given my hobbying budget about 3.0 per week. To be more financially responsible, taking a break for a month would be enough for the new phone plus accessories. I was restrained enough to get through 2 weeks. Then you know my small head took over. Feel like 2 step forward and 1 step back. But it is a good exercise to practice restrain and refocus outside hobbying.

When I explained to my son that the cost of three iPhone 12s cost roughly the same as my first car (used 87 Mercury Topaz), he was dumbfounded.

It’s simple, skip a week once a month and you’ll pay off the iPhone in 4 months. I understand of you’re hobbying once a week, but it’s a small sacrifice to have an awesome phone.
