Also while they say their location is NewYork a lot of times there a Geo location which they don’t turn off because they’re such morons indicates somewhere in Eastern Europe. You can’t use profile creation date as a guide. My blondie was only on for 2 weeks before we met the first time (which included maybe a week of chatting before tha). Major red flags are cash up front. If they want to meet me beforehand and make sure I’m not crazy I’m fine with that so long as it’s a public place (coffee, drink, etc.) even if they wanted like $50 to start there and the balance when we get upstairs - ok. Otherwise, I’ve fallen victim to the gifts upfront. That’s not happening to me again.

She’s a scammer. Talked to her - TWICE. Always wants money upfront. Both times I told her not happening. She gets snippy and ends the conversation.

While I appreciate your feedback, I will use whatever metric I want to filter out scammers lol. Generally based on my experience, 95% of profiles < 1 week old are fake. As such, my time is not worth the hassle for the 5% real profiles of which 90% are not even hot and want $1k ppm.

I also pay attention to their dialect/vernacular when messaging. If its not consistent with who they say they are/ the direction of the conversation then its probably someone from russia. And when it seems too easy - i hate jumping through hoops but it shouldn't be a layup. (most of the time)

5. Look at location and days the profile has been created. If outside of US they are VPN and prob a scam. If its a new profile (less than 4 days old), good chance they are gonna flake or a scam
