As I said, it is not issue with LE, it is the clients that are vulnerable. Let's say somehow some state actor like Russia, China or Iran managed to get thru these 3 Koreans and get the list. They can easily extort the people here (especially politicians and military personnel) otherwise they will make this information public.
I’m sure Federal Security Service or Reconnaissance General Bureau sat down with James Lee at a Starbucks in Harvard Square or at a cafeteria at the Harvard or MIT campus and discussed a mutually beneficial relationship. lol

The client list is overblown by the media.

Far fetched - but anything is possible

I said based on Escobedo to nicely tell the officer you would be more comfortable answering questions with your attorney - then be prepared to go to the station - your attorney will come and ask one question - is my client under arrest - no? Let’s go

I am neither confused nor at a lack of comprehension between probable cause and reasonable doubt in fact you seem to be . In order for reasonable suspicion to be in play you need to walk out of a a free standing building with no other floors , that is under surveillance, ie a massage parlor - here in NYC my only concern most indies are in apartments and most AMPs are inside of multi floor dwellings - neither of which are reasonable suspicion auspices
end of story
If this is a Federal investigation working with State police, they have their shit together. Federal agents works with top prosecutors and won’t make arrests until they get the nod from the prosecutor. At this point, they have cameras set up, and know exactly where people are entering and exiting a building and apartment. You are under surveillance and suspicion because they see you enter and leave their targeted area. They have the right to detain you (not arrest at this point) because they have suspicion a crime has been committed. They can search you. Your phone is part of your personal property and they can look at the content. If it’s turned off, they can’t make you turn it on. If you’re arrested, then they can get a search warrant for your phone and it’s contents.

It’s like you think investigatory detentions don’t exist. Cops have a right to detain you if they have reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed. You have absolutely no right to demand a lawyer at that specific moment.

Now one could argue whether you walking out of an apartment constitutes reasonable suspicion. But it could. Go ask all the people pulled over by police when leaving a known drug sales area.

Sir let me tell you something - you’re not in law enforcement and you are not an attorney. You have no idea what they can and can’t do other than what you watch on Law and Order .

If you are unlawfully detained and sue them, it goes on their record . They can receive a riip up to six months . They have to call their FOP rep another black mark . There can be a hearing, a demotion , a suspension with or without pay . Get the picture . They don’t need the crap , when they flash a badge they KNOW who you are . That’s the way it really works

. Cops can absolutely detain you if they have reasonable suspicion a crime was committed. Period. You don’t need to be a lawyer or legal expert to know that basic fact.

Look I’m just trying to help. Exercising your rights is great. But having incorrect knowledge of your rights and walking away from a lawful detention gives the cops all they need.

They do not detain you unless you are right where a major crime is happening - you think this is all they to do - they don’t give a crappy about you - they aren’t detaining you

I was in a place where FDNY and the building dept came in -I was getting a big - they opened the door they laughed and told me to get dressed - now cut the BS with your rights and bring detained - such juvenile nonsense

Guys- I think we’re done with discussion. Everyone is trying to help. Let’s hope nothing comes of this. If it does, I think we all agree, SHUT UP. You dont have to answer any questions. If you get arrested, call a lawyer.

Literal nightmare scenario. Not only is your screening info obtained and saved, but LE contacts you after the fact (maybe years after) to interview you, potentially charge you, and then make your activities public.

Cut and paste this article as a reply to every post that says "oh LE doesn't care about mongers" or "feds don't get involved" or "their house, their rules".

Also fucking insane that these assholes saved the personal info of clients for multiple years. Could not have been more damaging to the agency business. I recall that KD in NYC admitted to doing this after getting busted a few years ago. There is another North Jersey agency (GS starlets) run by a psycho lady that collects all sorts of invasive info and she has admitted (on another board, not here) that she saves all of it as a form of "insurance" (likely a plea deal with LE, or blackmail of clients she doesn't like).

Bottom line: you can not trust sending personal info to criminals! If you wouldn't send your employment info and ID to a guy delivering you a pizza, why would you do that to an escort agency?

I've said this many times, but screening where sensitive personal info is provided is only a thing in sex work in the US. It only exists because mongers thinking with the small head provide it. We make the market here - if we refused to provide it, it would cease to be a requirement.

Well these are the rules . They are in place to prevent you and them from psychos who might show up without any background check .

I have never heard of or know a person that was contacted years later . If you have a high level government or law enforcement position you don’t belong mongering .

If this bothers you that much then maybe this hobby isn’t for you. Without screening in this town , the only thing you are going to see is your hand .

And I easily did over 100 appts with them.
Guess what?
- "oh LE doesn't care about mongers"
- "feds don't get involved"
- "their house, their rules

Same with dozens of other agencies over the decades.
Had not one issue at all.
Ever.

The only involvement I have EVER had with LE was when I used to pick up streetwalkers in the 80s.
And even then, it was only when getting a BJ in that car.
They would have the girl get out, yell at me for about 10 secs, then tell me to get the hell out of there.
When I started taking the girls to hotels I never once had another encounter.

Not saying it can't happen, mind you, just that going by my experiences and the frequency I do this (which is probably much more than most), being contacted is a minuscule risk. Not something I would ever worry about.

I witnessed Leo busting a local spa today. Just driving by 3 cop cars in the lot; 5 cops outside. Small town. Was probably the entire local force. You’d have thought a murder had taken place inside. Not going to lie; it put a bit of fear in me and im normally not afraid of cops. But it just shocked me the kind of response for what I consider to be consenting adults. You heard about it; but It really blows my mind to see it with my own eyes.

In a small town the yenta hausfraus have nothing better to do than stare out the window, gossip, and call the police . In NYC or any large city , that is just not happening . These cops have bigger things to do like break up a fight between 50,000 Israeli protesters and their Palestinian counterparts. Or a getaway car that slammed into twenty people who were outdoor dining - or the thousands of homeless shelter city residents - they don’t have time for this hobby nonsense - only 10.000 cops to control 10 million people here

I read the actual complete affidavit. Big yawn. Owning 2 or more places in multiple states is what got them into trouble along with the really big crime of taking Covid funds of over 1/2 a million.

This investigator "interviewed" 20 men/customers. I seriously doubt he got anywhere with all 20 unless he found a few fools who actually confessed to something. Even if they found a few total fools, the customers weren't involved with trafficking of anyone. At most it is a local charge to be dealt with by the local police and not a federal matter. Ask yourself as long as you keep your trap shut, exactly what are you guilty of? Making a call. What specific hard proof do they have of exactly what happened in the room when you 2 were alone. It has always been the reason LE used undercover bust Johns and workers. There was no mention of anyone of the 20 being a cooperating witness, and I am sure the report would have included that very juicy fact.

As far as proving these women were trafficked against their will. I did NOT read anywhere that the women claimed they didn't get to keep their fair share of the money and that they were held against their will. These high end and high priced touring women know what they are doing. I have seen fancy watches on them and fancier hand bags. If they are trafficked they are trafficking themselves. Heck half of them will blow $10,000 in AC on a good night of partying. Paying for professional photo shoots and making calls to work at places while taking fancy vacations and flying around the country isn't going to convince a jury they are innocent victims of some evil plot they have ZERO control over. The media and the politicians love to use this new word trafficking but with these independent high end women, good luck proving that and not getting laughed out of any court considering most of these women can make more cash than most doctors.

It looks like the agency owners, are getting into the same trouble that brought Al Capone down. Finances and taxes. Especially with $500,000 on the line. It also looks like someone on the inside ratted them out. This document really outlines the finances of the agency. It became a Federal matter only because, it involved businesses in multi-states.

I doubt the local LE would care about this if it was brought to their attention. I mean as if LE doesn't know what is happening with every bedpage girl and at every AMP. What happens behind closed doors as long as everyone is happy just doesn't matter in the end. Unless you're an idiot owner of a professional sports team worth billions even then I am sure he only confessed to "only getting a massage" and there was zero evidence that could prove anything else happened.

yeah I’ll never get guys who think they are on display walking into a city establishment. No one cares. Last weekend I watched a guy in a wheelchair with no pants on shouting gibberish and he didn’t even get a glance. There is so much weird going on in the city that if you stopped to look at it all; you’d never get anywhere. Conversely a small town place and Karen and Co are likely watching your every move. They could practically write a biography on you. Car make and model. License plate. Description of you. Time you spent inside. Etc.[/QUOTE]

Been hobbying for 10+ years and have never had to provide any identifying personal info. References have worked fine for me. Have only had to truly walk away from a booking because of screening requirements a handful of times.

"These are the rules" only because that's what they want you to think. The reality is these are businesses and the well-run ones are happy to accept the right references/connections. It's only the groups saving info for blackmail etc that demand this stuff with no exceptions. And that should be a big enough red flag for you to never use their services.
