I’ve experienced similar bait and switch tactics elsewhere too, though they have so far worked out to my satisfaction. Some spas seem to just say anything to get you in the door.

I called and spoke to a lady with good English. We set an appointment with Lisa on Saturday. When I entered the spa, the woman who greeted me asked if I’d called and took me to the room. She didn’t look, dress or move like Lisa so I was surprised when she came back to give me the massage. It didn’t take long for her to block all attempts at roaming. I asked if she was Lisa and she said she was. The other room was occupied so I didn’t see another provider. This was yet another bait and switch.
