Not to split hairs too much, but “Caucasian” is a term denoting a race. “Hispanic” is a term made up some years ago as a catch-all for people from Spanish-speaking countries (but, ironically does not always include Spain). Since many “Hispanics” are of mixed race I technically shouldn’t have limited my statement to Caucasian but I didn’t know her origins and made an assumption.
Agreed. Although I think today, the term 'Latina' is more widely used than Hispanic, especially in this hobby. My only reason for specifying Ecuadorean was to let those that choose to see Veronica know upfront because she is a proud lady, who enjoys talking about her heritage. It was not meant to critique you, but I do apologize if you thought that was my intention.
