Left, you know I get it. Everyone is on edge. But sometimes I don’t think they think about the risks we take. We know nothing about them and I would think that a referral from a well known provider that I’ve been there multiple times would be better than taking a look at my Driver's License. But I respect her position. She’s keeping her team safe and that’s admirable. Better than taking everyone and no screening at all.
The truth of the matter is they don't care if anything happens to us. I read a Twitter thread in which a provider said that men exaggerate the number of times they were burned by giving personal information, that reputable providers would be professional because their reputation is on the line and that men are just valuing their concerns over providers by not sharing personal information. And I just well yes I am....I don't know any of you truly and even the most reputable providers are putting on an act when they work, we still dont know who they are. If we get caught, maybe it will ruin our lives and they wouldn't care if it does.
A provider asked for my license and work Id for some tantra work. She wouldn't tell me what the session entailed otherwise. I was able to find her personal information/social media from her phone number so she seemed decent so I ok. I give her my information and she takes forever to call/email me and the day we were scheduled to talk she called me two hrs late. When she described what would be included, it was vague and stressing no fs. 450 for 90 mins and 500 for 2hrs....I told her thank you and I would think about it. But I shared my personal information with someone who wasnt professional and with whom I'm not going to meet up with. Providers have their own world and bubble in which they reinforce each other's perspective.
