I, too, have occasionally shared your experience regarding the occasional failure-to-launch-at-an-AMP phenomenon. And it's understandable as to why. There are simply too many variables out of our control that can (and often do) easily interfere with our overall focus and occasionally essential concentration during an AMP session (as opposed to doing it in your own crib). I'm confident a good number of us would agree not having some environmental control can lead to losing one's mojo including but not limited to reasons such as : external noise and conversation, temperature, and the massage table (often too high off the ground and narrow). Then of course, there's the clock. Though at MB a couple of times I did not experience a MMS door knock even after overtime (nor was it ever brought up). But who wants to end a hot time and especially with a partner who would just assume keep going herself if she had the choice (which has happened a couple of times). All the above can possibly be amplified for some because of the newness of your new temporary partner. Getting super intimate in a super short amount of time can be a hurdle for some with any girl (especially if it's someone whom you consider super attractive). And for some, the number of our personal hurdles can be as high as our personal kinks. Fortunately it happens rarely. Nonetheless, when it did show up I would never have been able to predict ending up with my flow interrupted. However, upon any second visit to that same therapist I have never had a finishing problem simply because the familiarity seems to always make a second visit more of a sure thing and fun than the first. Of course, little else compares to the thrill of the first time sleighride. But at least for me, the second time has always been best because both parties are more relaxed about each other than before. So if you really did have a nice time with Ruby, I think a second visit sometime soon may do the trick. Especially if you can get yourself there at the beginning of their day. The place is generally nice and quiet during their first hour (and often into their second hour). And thanks to your report, Ruby's on my radar now.
