To me Jones need an offensive line and BETTER receivers and a durable TE he can make the throws and mobile just that the line breaks down to quickly and he runs for his life or the receivers can't catch. Barkley wants to much money CMC is the only running back making top dollar

I think it was a mutual break up for them. Barkley wants that cash that’s not worth it for the Giants with so many other gaping holes in our roster like the o-line. I think we need to go full rebuild and wish Barkley the best. I can see him going to Texas. Finding RB’s doesn’t seem to be that difficult even though I still believe Barkley can be one of the best if he’s not already that baring health.

Running backs are a dime a dozen and have a short shelf life. They didn't overpay Jones, he got market value for a starting QB. Prescott got that same amount and is gonna get more and only has one more playoff win than Jones with a much better team around him. Jones's contract makes him expendable after this season with very little of a cap hit.
